  1. Watch the games. It might be off by about five or so, but there's been so much physical play and hitting all over the place. Especially Game 2.
  2. Sweet Jesus. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LH8Gn05idpk
  3. I think Portland's going to win this game. They're so scrappy, once these scorers figure it out they'll be fine. What a series this is going to be though, this and OKC-Denver.
  4. What is this, the fourth or fifth time you're leaving? lol.... you are one of the biggest complainers on here. You'll hardly be missed.
  5. Well, if the Canucks defensive core keep playing the way they are, I don't think a team can stop them. But I don't want to get too far ahead of myself here, especially if we lose Game 2 (which I'm not expecting).
  6. - Portland v. OKC West Conference Finals - Indiana takes Chicago to 7 - Knicks to the Finals.
  7. No, this is an example of one of their members. http://cdn8.wn.com/vp/i/12/e5d865b8e18cc8.jpg Really tough.

  9. I don't understand your infatuation with the guy. He's been banned multiple times, has more accounts then he has bans and while he provides some knowledge, it's only for a month or so at a time before he brings in retard STL.

  11. Kesler's regressed defensively over the past two years because he's taken a step back from being a physical, agitator-like player to a more pure offensively player and that's certainly hurt his ability to play defensively. He's still incredibly responsible defensively and a viable Selke candidate, but I know what you're saying. Maholtra (now out for the season, which blows) has taken over those reigns.
  12. Perhaps the only positive is Chiarelli potentially gets under that massive burden of a contract. Not that it means anything when talking about someone's health, but you get the jist of it. The Bruins need to pinch every penny with the great talent they have.
  13. By museum, I meant as a hyperbole to a framed collection of the NBA's worst. But call it as you'd like it.

  15. Help me out guys, me and a couple of buddies are undertaking a huge, but really, really cool project. It'll cost a bit of money, but I think it's going to be awesome when it's done. We're going to assemble retro NBA jerseys into a bit of a museum. And I'm not talking the nice old retro Lakers jerseys. I'm talking about the big uglies - Toronto Raptors purple, Denver Nuggets Pride Parade, the wrap around Hawks jerseys of the Steve Smith, Mookie Blaylock era. I'm so excited to actually do this, it could be awesome. What I'm asking is if maybe some of you guys can scrounge around the net (eBay, craigslist, etc.) and look for some jerseys. I'm basically going to keep a checklist in here and keep every updated with pics and everything. Some of them we're looking for early on: http://www.sportslogos.net/images/logos/6/238/full/jc9kv3g20u48ibz2za78gt6bg.gif http://www.sportslogos.net/images/logos/6/220/full/4erepkchfs6lqmdzrc7hdedph.gif http://www.sportslogos.net/images/logos/6/229/full/hfu7u991sxhrejgblgwlvejwb.gif http://www.sportslogos.net/images/logos/6/223/full/z8ggvfxsuezaeaeghgtb3c916.gif
  16. http://menversus.com/images/Is-This-Real-Life.jpg The irony here is so strong. It's funny because your level of intelligence is of an elementary school child. I fail to see how you're any more mature then the kid.
  17. Bill Simmons is by far my favorite writer. I could read his articles and listen to ramble on for days. He's so knowledgeable and incredible with his wit, sarcasm and general humor.
  18. Yeah, I don't think the Jayhawks are losing to anyone at this point. They were my pick at the start of the tournament and there's been nothing to suggest any differently. The way they physically dismantled Richmond was a thing of beauty. A 20 point win over a team like the Spiders is no easy feat. And I think VCU is on Richmond's level, maybe a little better. They can keep it close for awhile with their scrappy, up-tempo basketball, but the Jayhawks are too deep and have the shooting to beat anyone right now. I don't think Skeev or whatever the Rams throw at the Morris' or Robinson is going to be enough.
  19. As for the topic, I didn't expect Denver to be 5th seed good, especially with Carmelo. Perhaps it's a testament to the now watered down level of the Western Conference, but the Nuggets go out every night and play a great style of basketball. It's fun to watch and they're a good team. I didn't expect Sacramento to be so bad. I thought they'd be up in Phoenix's range to be honest. But what do I know?
  20. I'd say more, but I don't want to risk being suspended or infracted, so I'll say it nicely. If this was a member of higher stature, a member of the age 18 or older, or a member that has been here for four years, you wouldn't say anything at all. Who cares if he steals the topic from another forum? It's certainly clear that you stroke your ego by going after people like Swish because of his standing on this forum, the bad aura he has around him and the way he conducts himself. It's just wrong? Are you kidding me? You're acting as if he stole a Bill Simmons column, switch four or five words around and call it a collab between Simmons and Swish. So to personal attack him over something as small as taking a topic idea "is just wrong". Personally attacking someone over trying to create activity is "just wrong". God damn, how old are you? 13? When you get past the stage of trying to insult members over something so petty, maybe this community would learn to appreciate posts like these more, but this had absolutely no substance, and no meaning other to bait Swish and try to stroke that big internet ego. Get out of here with that garbage.
  21. Because Syracuse is just as mediocre and Marquette found the in's and out's of their 2-3 match up zone.
  22. Jimmer is a great player - anyone will say it. What he's done in lieu of a terrible team in BYU is nothing short of outstanding, and he's carried what is basically a 9 seed all the way up to a 3 seed. He should get serious consideration for POY and rightfully so. He does it all on the offensive end for BYU, a lot of which will transfer over to the NBA - his off-ball movement, shooting, creativity and will to win will find a niche on some NBA team. The one thing I'd be worried about is if he's drafted by the wrong team. Bill Simmons brought up Charlotte and that's an excellent point. The Bobcats would be awful for him.
  23. How anyone would put this game on Jimmer is beyond me lol. He's playing like shit, but BYU is playing like the God awful team they are. They are not a good basketball team as I've said throughout the year. Comparable to LSU in football this year.
