Surprising to say the very least. Sort of weird he'd take such an awful job, but maybe he wants to built the team up. Who knows. Good pick-up for Vandy, maybe they become relevant. http://www.insidevandy.com/drupal/node/15801

I live in Vancouver. I'll catch the re-run on TSN in a few weeks, where I'll PVR it but for now I'm just going to look for a torrent, I really want to see it.

Because it can easily happen? Lol, there's not much you can say. You guys can just as easily win those games as well. God damn, is this real life? It's easy to see that it could happen, considering two are in your own division, two rivalry games and the other two games are against two of the best the AFC has to offer.

I asked for the first box set of 30 for 30 for Christmas, can't wait to get it. Every documentary has been superb. Where I'm living of course I don't get ESPN and I'm not watching Pony Excess right now. Have to wait for someone to torrent it and DL it, because I think it's going to be the best one yet. Plus June Jones has transformed SMU into a quality team. Currently using them in my dynasty for NCAA 11, Kyle Padron is a great quarterback and the offensive system both fits and flows well.

I wouldn't be surprised if something else was going on. Like Tiger, where there is smoke, there's fire. A Gainesville radio station (reportedly) said Urban was having an affair with a student at UF. I haven't researched that particularly so it's probably just a crock, but I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Urban had some sort of extenuating circumstance that MADE him resign. Just a hunch. And I also don't think he's going to Denver. After the McDaniels debacle Denver will either be looking defensive side of the ball or a low key coach such as Winston Moss who doesn't have much publication about him.

Blake Griffin Soft?
The Great iBoldin replied to MainEv3nt's topic in NBA and College Basketball Media
I don't get how that makes Blake Griffin soft, if anyone comes in with that amount of force and acceleration of course he's going to knock him over, I doubt he was even expecting it. Doesn't make Griffin soft at all. -
I'd say the Ravens right now, the Giants are a bit of an enigma on offense but usually have a great scheme so I'd have to go with Baltimore.
-
Sure, we can do something like that at the end of the season, where we also pick our keepers and different things like that.

I'll update this in a few minutes, just watching the rest of the SEC Championship game then I'll do some editing. As for Singletary, there is no way they should keep him around, he's useless. We are talking about a coach that is going back to Alex Smith in the biggest game of the season in all likelyhood (have read several reports). He's just not a good coach, and the 49ers aren't in a position where they can use a coach that is more motivator then coach. I would keep Singletary if the 49ers were contending for a Super Bowl, but they aren't, and won't be until they start fresh with competency at quarterback.

Depending on who comes in, this could potentially throw a roadblock in Tim Tebow's progression, which he was making this year. We'll see what happens on that front I suppose. The Broncos should bring in a defensive guy, because it has been continually shown time and time again that offensive minds tend not to work and that could hurt the Broncos once again. They need some stability, because they have a decent talent level and a good amount of players you can keep and build around. Plus they have the fanbase to compete money wise.
-
Also thought that, but the NCAA does some weird things so this honestly doesn't surprise me. Al Golden has built that program up nicely though and they should be a force in a couple of years. I love all the 3-4 draft prospects he has been producing and Bernard Pierce is a helluva runner.

Eh I don't think he was a scapegoat, he just sucked [expletive] at calling plays and running the offense. Greg Davis is awful.

What are everyones favorite matchups? I gotta say, one of my favorites to watch will be Texas A&M and LSU. Two evenly matched teams, I thought the Aggies should be in a BCS Bowl contention but they're simply weren't enough at large spots for them. They've beaten a lot of good Big 12 teams including a very big win at Oklahoma. They've won some close games and that's LSU's MO. I would fully expect a field goal to decide the game, or even overtime. I also want to see South Carolina bounce back when they play FSU. A great measuring stick game for both teams, the Gamecocks more so. They could definitely use some added momentum going into next year where they will challenge Florida again for the SEC East Championship. Also want to see the following: Arizona v. Oklahoma State, Utah v. Boise State, and of course the rest of the BCS Bowls. There was a lot of parity in the NCAA this season so there should be a lot of good and close games. Bowl Season is my favorite time of the season I think as well.

Well, what would you change about it? Tell me so I consider changing it if everyone agrees.

WK13: San Francisco @ Green Bay
The Great iBoldin replied to Real Deal's topic in NFL Gameday Archives
Good night sweet San Francisco. -
Perhaps, but I doubt it considering Auburn blew South Carolina out of the water in a Championship game and already lead the BCS Standings as it is. But you never know.

Final predictions: NC Game: 1 Auburn v. 2 Oregon Rose Bowl: Wisconsin v. TCU Sugar Bowl: Ohio State v. Arkansas Orange Bowl: Virginia Tech v. Stanford Fiesta Bowl: Oklahoma v. UConn

SEC Championship: #19 South Carolina vs #1 Auburn
The Great iBoldin replied to Lkr's topic in College Football
I think Cam Newton is going to be perfectly fine in the NFL wherever he ends up. He does things with his arm and his athleticism that I haven't seen since Vick. I mean this kid has everything scouts drool over physically. The size is unmatched and so are his feet in most cases. He has an absolute cannon for an arm and does good things with it. Beautiful ball placement on deep throws, can get the ball to basically any space on the field. Needs refinement on his footwork as he tends to throw off his back foot or flat footed too much but that's also an attribute to his arm and the time he gets from his offensive line and the system as well. And I get what everyone is saying in that you do need to watch him, even somewhat nurture him for a few years. He's a confused kid in some ways. When you have a father that has a hand in basically prostituting you for his own personal benefit, it's tough. He's been in some rough situations and that could have a mental toll if it were to happen again. But this is something that can be fixed and even nullified by Newton in interviews at the combine and his pro day. This kid has all the tools to be a Ben Roethlishberger type player in the league. Very athletic, big body with a big arm who can get away from pressure. I think he is going to be a great NFL player, but some may not agree with me. Some may suggest that he will either be great or a bust, and nothing in between. I don't necessarily buy that but I can see it. In the end, I think we should all just have fun watching Newton play in the NC Game and ultimately in the NFL. -
Leach isn't a bad idea, probably comes at a fraction of the cost and the air raid would be absolutely insane with Miami talent and athleticism instead of 2 star leftovers from Texas.
-
I really do think he is Stanford, Michigan or to the NFL, although Michigan I would think is the front runner if they're prepared to make him the highest paid coach. He's a perfect Big 10 coach.

Tribe, still making awful, over-contrasted eyesores you call signatures? You mad LeBroom left a dilapidated, multi-color, greasy skidmark on your team and city? Maybe that Cleveland will never be relevant in any professional sport ever again? Yeah... you mad. http://thenastyboys.files.wordpress.com/2008/04/chris-hansen.jpg Why don't you have a seat over there..

Nice pick-up by the Canes, I love Gruden, and it's mutually beneficial. There is no reason not to do this. Gruden's bringing his guys in and with the talent level Miami has should be a good football team.

Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship: #13 Nebraska vs #9 Oklahoma
The Great iBoldin replied to Lkr's topic in College Football
They won't blow any Nebraska team off the field with the way the Cornhuskers play defense. And their offense can stay with a lot of teams. I'd trust Nebraska's defense to get a key stop over almost anyone in the country. If Nebraska's defense can turn in a performance such as the one they did when they stifled Missouri's spread attack the Cornhuskers should win. But they seriously need penetration inside from Steinkuhler and Jared Crick and a fresh yet lethal rotation at the spindle spot in their multiple defensive formation. It'd be ideal if they could limit Murray and force Landry Jones into some terrible decisions like he had last week against the Cowboys. And I also don't agree that Nebraska's only consistent player is Burkhead. They have a stellar offensive line up front, particularly the inside. Burkhead helps, he's a great runner, but I think you have to realize that teams scheme to take Niles Paul away in the passing game and Taylor Martinez needs to be contained. Paul and Martinez are keyed upon so much that they cannot be consistent, yet the Cornhuskers get a contribution from an array of different players on any given day. I expect Kinnee to play a great game on Saturday. Give me 20-17 Nebraska. -
Absolutely love this album, words can't even explain. Everything is perfect. My favorite songs are All of the Lights, Dark Fantasy, Hell of a Life, Blame Game and Monster.
