  1. I'm not watching this video, but isn't this girl mentally disturbed or something? If so, there's your loophole..
  2. It's been the other way around in pre-season, and Leinart has gotten a free pass for far too long. The Cards couldn't even garner a first down with Leinart, at least Anderson is putting them in scoring position. Either way, John Skelton and/or Max Hall will be the starter (s) by the end of the year, Arizona really likes both of them (especially Hall).
  3. I would think the Giants would like to keep Bomar anyways. Young, good back-up quarterback and he's flashed a little bit in the pre-season. More then last year, anyway. I'd keep him then bring in Leinart.
  4. The Bills should seriously inquire about him. Trent Edwards is brutal and they have no real depth behind him. He'd probably be the back-up until Edwards is too brutal to have in their anymore and he'd be the incumbent. Perfect. It's better then cutting our losses with him and not getting anything in reward at all.
  5. You're completely right, but these past two entries have kind of been blog posts. I ramble a lot so that probably as something to do with it. As I gain more credibility you'll see more professionalism in my articles. Thanks a lot for pointing it out though.
  6. It takes a little bit to get used to, but once you do it's fun. I'd like a little more variety on the courses but it's such an awesome site I can't complain. I love the realism. Championship tees at St. Andrews are impossible, I have my clubs at what I hit in real life and it's almost impossible to hit an approach on these greens. I'm like +7 through three holes which would be the same with the real thing.
  7. Awesome site, you can play eight different courses including Pinehurst, St. Andrews, Oakmont and Bethpage and it's really a great simulation type thing. They sort of use Google Earth to showcase the course cause it looks real. It could just be my awful eyes. http://www.wgt.com/home.aspx Make an account if you wish, perhaps if enough people join we could have an OTR Clubhouse.
  8. Definitely some subjective lists in here.. lemme try'er out. 1. Peyton Manning 2. Tom Brady 3. Drew Brees 4a. Philip Rivers 4b. Aaron Rodgers 5. Tony Romo 6. Brett Favre 7. Ben Roethlisberger 8. Eli Manning 9. Donovan McNabb 10. Jay Cutler Fringe guys were Flacco, Schaub, Matty Ice, Matthew Stafford and Carson Palmer. And yes, I am serious with Jay Cutler. I'm still a huge Cutler fan.
  9. The Illuminati is no secret society. It's a bunch of fools with ridiculous claims and arguments as to why we're going to be taken over by Hulk Hogan and the nWo.
  10. Your wish is my command. http://owenmunro.tumblr.com/nfl Newest article. At first I really had my eyes on it being a fantasy article, and there are some roots of that in there, but I shied away from it and went more into a personal column, but still focused on the offensive side of the ball. Obviously I have loves and hates on the defensive side of the ball, maybe I'll get to them sometime next week. Either way, these also are not all of them, but still, enjoy. And bring some up on your own if you'd like to. Discussion is key in these things!
  11. Thanks guys, I hope you guys continue to read everything I put out and help me out with any criticisms you may have. I really have a good feeling about this. Lkr - It was pre-coded, so I honestly wouldn't have any idea how to fix it. In a perfect world, I would have my own layout and a Wordpress, it'd help tremendously, but tumblr's not bad. The only terrible thing is I can't really keep old articles up, I have to archive them because the pages would be way too long. I think I'd prefer Blogger in that sense, but this is definitely not bad at all.
  12. I do too, but I was conservative because of the potential variables. A lot can change.
  13. I'm going to get some people for a little round table thing after each week this season. I don't want to take all the credit for this site, I kind of want this to be a community-type thing, but really broaden my horizons as far as audiences go. Haha, you're the main culprit. But it's okay, I enjoy them. Best one - Confidence trades me Steve Smith (Carolina) and Ronnie Brown for Brandon Marshall and J-Stew.
  14. Thanks, I'll definitely take you up on both of those things.. that twitterfeed is amazing. And I really hope it does. Thanks B.
  15. After a few days of strenuous work (did a lot of typing and doing fantasy drafts) and a few too many coffees, I finally nailed down the project I wanted to do all summer, my blog. Some might remember the post I put up about doing Team Previews and such. Well, it never got done. Probably disappointed some people, and I kind of hated myself for not doing it because it would of been a rewarding project to say the least, but this is just as good. For tonight, it's just one article - my sort of "Feature" colum - the Pick Six. It'll probably come out twice a week, or once a week if I do some other things, but either way, it's six notes on things I wanted to write about and get my thoughts on. You'll find the link for it down below. I just want to say thanks to all the people in the football forum. I don't want to go too in depth, but there's a few people I'd personally like to thank (God, I sound like I just won an Emmy or something). ECN - I don't always agree with your views, and you're difficult to deal with sometimes, but I respect that you're true to word and support your team. Renos - You all send me awful fantasy football proposals, but you bring good insight on everything football. .50 - You tell it like it is, but post a bit more on the forums. Lkr - Solid insight on things. SumtiNspecial - I don't see eye to eye on you with the Seahawks, and you post some weird [expletive], but the forums wouldn't be the same without you. Bearsfan - I don't like Brian Urlacher. Flash - Good Green Bay fan. Fish - I think Tony Romo is a upstanding individual. Mason - Post a bit more. And give me insight on this years top fiddy players. Real - I'm not a big basketball fan, but I wouldn't be on any forums right now if it weren't for this site. So thank you. Hakeem Nicks - Nicks is going to have a breakout season. There's probably a lot more of you, but whatever, I think the same of all of you. Tomorrow, I'm going to release my "Love/Hate" column on fantasy football, and NFL in general, and I'll be posting at least two new things every day for the next week leading up to the NCAA season, and hitting the high gear the next week for NFL season. I seriously hope this jump starts my Journalism career. I guess everyone has to start somewhere, right? If they're any bugs with the site, or anything errors on my grammar or on the site itself, let me know, I'll fix it. Thanks guys. The Main Site - Owen Munro on Football Owen Munro on Twitter
  16. My new football blog has been launched! Check the Football Forum for more details.

  17. Does Splitter expect to play for San Antonio this year? If so, he could be an interesting player to watch, he played very well against the US and kind of fits the Spurs gameplan.
  18. Which is good. I really like Georgia's uniforms, the Bulldog red is much better then say Louisiana Tech's shade of red. It flows well.
  19. I think our school is like 1,200, maybe less. Canada is different, we only have four classes a day, 1 hour and a 17 minutes long. Probably has something to do with it. Either way, a Canadian education > American in most cases.
  20. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=lukas/100830_college_football The guy looks like a total geek, but he did some great research here. I'm surprised so many universities change or update their jerseys so often. Most are just subtle changes, and most still look awful (the typography for Utah State pains me) but it's a cool little feature. My favorite jerseys are the same as the article, Navy. At least for the upgraded change. That'll probably change to Oregon State's Pro Combat uni, I love their color scheme.
  21. Sell me on why I would sell Brandon Marshall for that, especially in a half-PPR league.
  22. Thought the autopick did fairly well, my running backs are stacked, but I got it in the butt at receiver. Vincent Jackson. FML. Sidney Rice. FML. Antonio Bryant. FML. At least I got a guy like Derrick Mason at 2 bucks.
  23. FML. I can't make it tonight, something personal has come up. Hopefully I'm not handed too [expletive]ty of a team. FFS. I wanted Finley and some Arian Foster. Brutal.
  24. Where the hell do you go to school? U mad my school starts at 9 ends at 2 40? U mad my school has 1 hour 15 minute lunches?
