  1. Where'd they laugh at you? It's a legit proposition, especially with Keller and LT added to the mix. Sanchez to Keller has been popular so far in training camp, as well.
  2. He's a beaut. I like the name Theodore too haha.
  3. Some people had some high hopes for Ratliff, including me. I think he's still in Cleveland, probably going to cut with the better (yet surprisingly still awful) quarterbacks Mangina brought in.
  4. Apparently the Jets receiving core has been getting rave reviews from Jets brass. Braylon looks great, Holmes is as well. Cotchery has had some nice plays and even David Clowney is playing incredibly well in their scrimmages. Would add a nice dimension along with that running game.
  5. Carson Palmer's arm looked weak. Can't imagine him being getting backed to where he was a couple of years ago, it's definitely a shame. He made the Boys' 3-4 'backers look like a bunch of Orlando Scandricks out there.
  6. Wow..1 out away from a no-hitter and it's taken away like that. Brutal.
  7. Wow, what a quality sub by Silva, Sonnen was gassed but he put out one helluvan effort.
  8. If it's true, I'm glad and honored to have watched such a successful, great quarterback like Brett Favre. Risk taker or not, he got the job done several times in his career, it's been an absolute pleasure watching Favre, through the good times and bad. We're watching one of the better quarterbacks in NFL history walk away. And while I don't know what it's like to retire from the NFL, I can truly acknowledge what Favre is going through. He's played it as a passion for over 20 years. Favre has a lot of haters on him, some rightfully so. But he was one of my favorite players in the entire time I've watched football, and I'm privileged to have watched him play the game of football.
  9. Once the tuner set comes out it'll be all fixed up, it's coming out next week. No point taking the game back. Madden will have just as many problems with it when it comes out, that's EA's game.
  10. Everything from now on up to pre-season, we should keep and discuss everything in here. Mainly rookie signings, hold outs, who's playing well and what not. A lot of the first rounders are signing. Latest are Alualu to Jacksonville and Dan Williams with the Cards.
  11. It's nothing, "carted off the field" is a very vague response. I think Desean is back practicing already. It's fine, nothing to get worried about, same with Broncos fans.
  12. I would honestly be more worried about the San Diego/KC game then Miami. Kansas City always plays San Diego tough, and they're at home. Buffalo is going to be awful.
  13. 1. iBoldin's team Rest of league goes here.
  14. You're going to regret that pick in week three or so when Hassleback's brittle body breaks yet again.
  15. Matt Moore and Bernard Scott. Hopefully they're both still up there. Potential steals.

  18. The Bears had/have Lance Briggs to shut down tight ends, it was rarely Urlacher doing it. And great, he can do one thing positive. That's always good, especially when your job mainly consists of dropping back in a deep zone 40-50 times a game or pilejumping for an assisted tackle five-six yards up the field.
  19. Brian Urlacher thrived in a system that relies on undersized players, speed and athleticism. It's an elementary school system, unless you're blitzing out of it, which the Bears never did in it. The only way he "revolutionized" the position was because he was an undersized safety who's only job it was was to back up in the deep zone and perhaps make a tackle if he needed to around the five yard mark. He was a good player in a great defense in a system that works for his type of player. He is no where near the HOF. Not even close, and a Super Bowl ring wouldn't help his efforts.
  20. Brian Urlacher is garbage. Stays in his little zone in the leagues pussiest defense and makes his tackles five yards upfield. Congrats to him for finding that system and thriving in it but he was overrated two years ago, he was overrated five years ago and he's going to be continually overrated. People talk about Urlacher to the HOF too. I just laugh at those misinformed people. He even said it himself.
  21. Singletary didn't make Patrick Willis a superstar, he was well on his way to stardom before he became the head coach. He would've whether Singletary was there or not. I like Singletary, he's a great disciplinarian and can teach real well, but his downfall is he's not a great coach. That's one way the 49ers won't get an optimal performance, example being his hiring of Jimmy Raye. Top-five worst coordinators in the league. The Cardinals are in a down year, sort of rebuilding on the fly after getting ravaged of a lot of quality talents, so the 49ers have a pretty easy road to the division if they realize what the have. I don't believe in Alex Smith though. He's just not a winner. EDIT - And Seattle is still utter garbage. St. Louis as well.
