  1. That's such a childish way to come back. "You Mad?" I'm not mad, considering the Cardinals won the division and another playoff game while the 49ers watched it at home. It was an air-it-out system, because they threw the ball 528 times compared to running the ball 371 times. 147 more times. That means you threw the ball more times then you ran it by an astronomical amount. It's not even worth arguing with you, and I'm not going to waste my time doing it because you're so far set into your ways, that any other opinion that differs from yours comes back with you suggesting someone is mad with something totally irrelevant to the matter at hand or completely throwing it out the window. You're by far the biggest homer on the site. There is absolutely no chance in reasoning with you.
  2. Witten is a better player then Vernon Davis. 1 decent productive season where Davis never even really came on until Week 7 (besides Minnesota) in an air-it-out system last year under Singletary doesn't equal four or five All-Pro, productive seasons by Witten. Get your head out of Davis' [expletive].
  3. Being fair, I really don't think you could go wrong with either back. They're both incredible players at the height of their careers.
  4. I agree with ECN. I'm still taking Adrian Peterson. A couple of fumbles and everyone has completely soured on the kid. CJ2K is the flavor of the month right now, but Peterson's going to get back on track. It's not like he was ever off track, anyways. One thing Adrian Peterson is criminally underrated for is his ability to pick up blitzes. He's every good at it.
  5. Yeah, there's several different sites you can buy NFL jerseys, some are cheaper then that as well. Look around, there are also good NHL fakes for around 35$ and you can find NFL ones on those sites as well. I've only bought one in my life, and that was about 4 months ago - a Baltimore Boldin jersey, and it looks good, but you can tell it's a fake. It's still awesome quality though.
  6. Well in the terms of what he got, yes he did. I was just talking about straight up talent, though. But he did bring it on himself with the trading of Meszaros, the signing of Zherdev. Very poor cap management and it sucks seeing a good team such as Philadelphia having to make these sort of deals. Gagne was such a huge part of the Boston series comeback and an instrumental part the rest of the way.
  7. Holmgren bent over for Stevie Y.
  8. I just watched this and the others he has out, and this guy is a total idiot. He's completely biased and has bought in to his own thinking. He's trying to support that with stupid math equations and irrelevant events. What a buffoon.
  9. Too bad Marion Barber is borderline useless now. He used to be a good player.
  10. Alex Smith has all the things around him to succeed, but he won't throw more then 25 touchdowns. That's laughable. Only twelve quarterbacks threw for that number last year, and Alex Smith is in the bottom echelon of quarterbacks. Even in a pass friendly offense (Which it's not going to be, according to Singleton) it'd be tough for him. Knowing Smith, he'll either get injured or be totally ineffective. One choice I like is Bernard Scott. He'll get a lot more carries then last year, and the odds Benson does something stupid are quite high. It's already happened once this offseason. Homer pick for the Cards is Early Doucet. Came on a lot at the end of the season and had a nice playoffs. With Boldin gone, Doucet will do a lot of the things Anquan did for the offense, and could come into his own.
  11. Yeah but then it's totally subjective because everyone has completely different tastes and thoughts on who's better and who's awful. Although I'll agree, this system has plenty of downfalls. There's no way Egypt should be number nine. All they've done is beat porous teams to improve their ranking. Couldn't even get a berth in the World Cup.
  12. The rankings are more or less indicative on what you did in between the two ranking periods. Holland both went farther then Brazil and beat Brazil along the way. Therefore, they are ranked higher.
  13. Holland went to the finals of the World Cup, whereas Brazil went to the Quarterfinals. Holland also beat Brazil. Not that farfetched.
  14. Jon Lester is warming up in the bullpen. Hope he is ready to get shelled. .
  15. Didn't happen. Ubaldo was very good I thought.
  16. I have 360, but I don't have live right now. My GT is munro09. I should get live in the next few weeks.
  17. They'll come out in a day or two. A guy on OperationSports is doing them, they may even be done today. I think he had like 20 left.
  18. Whatever floats your boat then. Madden has been awful since 05 or 06.
  19. It was an example. And I'm talking about NCAA, they've taken the time to actually improve their run blocking, the way the offensive lines interact in the trenches. It's something that Madden just doesn't grasp. Madden is always about all these cool new features they've added when all they've really needed to do is fix the gameplay and make Franchise run like Madden 05 and 06. It's just the same product every year and they try to sell us on some minor addition as they try to blow it out of proportion.
  20. No, it's really not. Look at the in-depth features NCAA has implemented this year. Cut scenes, they're finally learning how to use their ESPN right, beautiful integration, it looks awesome. Madden has tried to do it before and they can't because it's really a second rate product. The Madden producers want to come up with these things like making us wait 30 seconds for a yard measurement I can tell myself. Or they want me to look at this guy trying to sell shirts at a stand before a game? Honestly, who cares about that? All they've done in the past three years is polish up terrible gameplay and the Online Franchise was a complete joke last year. It was horribly done, ESPECIALLY compared to NCAA. This year, NCAA has made it feel like a football game for once. They've done a great job of integrating real football IQ into the game. Case in point: I ran a power play over right tackle in an offset I-Form. In years past, that would get totally blown up by the defensive end who were ungodly powerful and I'd lose two or three years or barely get back to the LOS. This season, the right tackle and the fullback actually kicked out the end and I ran for a great 6 yard gain and a first down. It's all about realism, and NCAA has it. Madden does not.
  21. These are both absolutely ridiculous views on the subject. Are you being serious with these? Why can't a player be considered a disappointment because his team was the best team in the tournament? Why does every player have to be painted with the same brush because there teams were absolutely terrible.
  22. NCAA is miles ahead of Madden, in my opinion. I'm not getting Madden for at least another year, not until they fix the more then glaring errors in both gameplay and effects. NCAA has done more to increase marketability of their product over the last few years and have taken big big strides.
  23. Yes! Jay Onrait is my favorite sportscaster around, I love what he does for TSN.
  24. I'd post a "You Mad?" but personally I find it to be worn out. Butthurt.
