  1. I hope they don't overdo the physics engine though, I don't want to see 30 or 40 of those "big hits" every game, but I do like what I see. I'm also hoping they really implement the CHL into Be a GM well so I can use my prospects and see them develop over the years. I can't wait for this game.
  2. Just post this with the other 20 threads on LeBron, including the same one you posted earlier today pondering whether he'd go to New York.
  3. He wouldn't stomp Brock, it'd be a good fight that either one of them could win lol. Clearly you either hate Brock Lesnar or you're just another Fedor fan boy who doesn't want to acknowledge anyone else's opinion.
  4. You just explained to yourself the exact reason WHY Weaver is not in the All-Star game. It's all a popularity contest.
  5. I heard this Diana Taurasi is a man and a half

  6. The advice I've gotten quite a bit is to stay away from agencies and all that until you've networked and worked your [expletive] off for about 5 years because it's just too hard to get a foot in the door these days with just a degree. A year or so ago I wanted to do the same thing, but I realized it's just not worth it. Also, I'd recommend perhaps taking a couple writing courses or communications courses because you're going to be writing up anything and everything you've ever imagined. Good luck.
  7. Ughhh, why are you a sports management major? Take it as a minor and work towards business school or J-school. Sports Management degrees will get you nowhere. Low-end jobs in sports are being completely gutted and have been for over three years now. EDIT - Also, nice first video, you're pretty decent. I'm looking to get FIFA10 in the next few days, the World Cup has really renewed my interest in "futbol".
  8. Germany looked dominant. So good on the counter attack, and they finally took advantage on the so called weak strength of Argentina on the back-end. The future is here with Mesut Oezil and Mueller. They are absolutely sick, and they work the advantage in the middle so well. Schweinsteiger played brilliant today as well. I dislike Argentina and Maradona, so to see a thumping like 4-0 is delightful to see.
  9. For all you young bucks out there.
  10. Happy with the signing of Malholtra, he anchors the third-line, maybe a bit of maybe but for a very, very good face-off man and a guy who can put up some points. Looking like Hamhuis to Vancouver now as well.

  12. It's ridiculous that your only considering statistics in this. Eli Manning is a much better quarterback then Matt Schaub and had a great year last year regarding the circumstances. Schaub played in a pass-happy system and played in very friendly conditions (Texas, dome stadium) whereas Eli played in the blustery winds of New York. He had foot problems almost the entire year, not to mention it's his planting foot which severely limits his mobility and arm strength. He had a terrible run game and a terrible defense as well. Look past the circumstances and look at the abilities of the two quarterbacks. I'd take Eli 10/10. Schaub is incredibly overrated. EDIT - This whole list is terrible. I'd disregard anything EASports' scouting department says.
  13. That whole list besides Fitzgerald and Andre Johnson (perhaps Brandon Marshall) is laughable.
  14. Why do I have the weird feeling that this guy is PointForwardGuy?
  15. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u115/rcbaker87/Not_sure_if_serious.jpg Haven't used this one before, but now seems like the appropriate time to bring 'er out. Also, RD, Blasco, BFT and I think Mason's up there as well.
  16. I have about 5 or 6 more quotes lined up, but I'll stop at 2.
  17. You just posted that today. http://namecriticscam.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/irony.jpg
  18. Not acting like that at all. All I'm acting like is take a step back and realize this isn't something that should be labeled as "The Goal". Sidney Crosby's Olympic Winning Goal against the US is twice "the Goal" then that was.
  19. Nothing made me mad at all, I just laugh that people could be so incredibly happy over making the knockout stage in the easiest group in the World Cup.
  20. Well I would disagree, considering I've watched all three matches. I'm saying a team placed in such an easy group shouldn't be able all up in arms over beating Algeria.
  21. Is this a newly started league ECN? I'm interested.
  22. I don't know, but considering we're not discussing Canada, it's not relevant to the topic at hand. Soccer isn't properly funded here in Canada anyways, our programs are awful because there's not even enough players or enough money. It's tied into hockey and lacrosse mostly. Those two programs are the best in the World. And very descriptive. Do you always feel the need to bash your fellow members in such a grotesque manner when someone disagrees with your opinion.
  23. I don't care what happened, because that has the chance to happen to anyone at anytime. It's not "THE GOAL" at all. It was a last gasp attempt to win a game they needed to if they wanted to go through and they didn't produce that goal until beyond the 90th minute and everyone is acting as if the World Cup has already been decided.
  24. Congrats, it took you 90 minutes and 45 seconds to beat a team to qualify for the next round. You guys act like you won the World Cup. Big ups for beating Algeria.
