  1. Well, to spare Aaron Corp - who's one ugly [expletive]er I might add - Husky Stadium is just absolutely brutal to play in. I was there in the Oregon rivalry when I was 10, and my ears hurt, then I was there last year when Oklahoma came to town. It's deafening some times, it's so intimidating.
  2. I'm going to re-iterate this for people. Sproles is overrated as a back. Tomlinson still does more for San Diego then Sproles does. Yes, Sproles is arguably the best return man in the league. He's explosive, and he can thrive catching the ball out of the backfield and making plays in the open field. Everyone knows that, because he's shown it. Yet, so can Reggie Bush, so can Jerome Harrison, so can Stefan Logan. If you really look at it, there's a lot of undersized backs that actually carry the load, something Sproles cannot do. He's good for 10-12 carries a game, anymore and I guarantee you he would break down in a couple weeks. He's going to be criticized down the line by the same people who're doubting Tomlinson because he won't be durable. Ask any coach in the league, they'll tell you when LT gets back on the field, teams will gameplan for him more then they do for Sproles. I just don't see the fuss about the kid. He's a dynamic player, but he's one-dimensional in the fact that he gets by on incredible speed. Let him run between the tackles for a full game or two, then we'll see.
  3. Went ahead and sent you one. Devery Henderson, Steve Breaston (I'll switch to Kevin Walter if you want) and Brent Celek for Jerricho Cotchery, Ben Watson and Justin Gage, whom I could just take out so it's 3 for 2? Lemme know.
  4. Big ups to Jason Fox. He looks real nice from the tape I've watched. Fluid, doesn't get beat a whole lot.
  5. The 'Noles speed should scare BYU. They have an underrated defense as well. I'm pretty torn on this game. However, I think BYU has to fall sometime. It's this game or the Utah game, IMO. Gimme the 'Noles.
  6. Yeah, not too mention the fact that they couldn't re-sign him anyways. I can see a decrease or increase in scoring, and that's what makes me like the Boston Bruins this year. Not to mention, Milan Lucic, the good ole' Vancouver kid.
  7. Is anyone else' Facebook not working? Mine worked about 2 hours ago, and I came home from field lacrosse, andddddd it doesn't work. Plus, I'm way too tired to do anything.
  8. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=4485942 Good move for the Laffs. I think they're finally playoff bound this year, whether it be a 7 or 8-seed.
  9. Don't worry, they'll go 14-2 the rest of the way. ..right guys? I'm right, right?
  10. Miami impresses me, they look very good, well disciplined. Maybe Shannon has something this year.
  11. He was vocal in the huddle every play almost.. you can see it and hear it lol. Bunch of BS in my opinion, he was urging the offense on in that last drive the Bills had.
  12. Short week for Miami to prepare for the triple option. You seen what it did to Clemson in the early goings, a big gain, interception, etc. They weren't prepared. We'll see if Miami comes out ready.
  13. I'm just relaying what Adam Schefter heard from a guy inside Chicago. Briggs moves inside and Jamar Williams, Tim Shaw or if they sign Derrick Brooks at the weakside. You really want Hunter Hillenmeyer to play the middle?
  14. Everytime Seymour kicks into defensive tackle, he and Kelly do work. They dominate the interior line of the Chargers. It's not even funny some plays. Seymour's got two sacks already.
  15. Just because Urlacher is, most likely, done for the season, shouldn't have a big bearing on Chicago's season. They're still a quality team that'll be in a lot of games they will play. The Bears really like their back-up weakside linebacker, Jamar Williams. They could play Williams, push Briggs inside, or sign Brooks. Either way, Briggs will move inside.
  16. For those Canadians here, and Trailer Park Boys, I found out about Swayze by the constant comparisons of Julian to Patrick, lol. And the whole final season being pretty associated with him. RIP.
  17. Yeah, but on the same token, Andy Reid has an undeniable hard-on for the extroadanairy quarterback that is Kevin Kolb.
  18. This. Panthers signed AJ Feeley too, not like he's starting material, but he's better then McCown (the other one) and Matt Morris, who apparently Marty Hurney is STILL enamored with.
  19. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IVI5W8Eg3Gs/SI8lYL-M6jI/AAAAAAAAABE/hJEyACF7rNQ/s320/YouMad.jpg You're taking it pretty seriously dude, lol.
  20. Taylor Swift is not more popular then Kanye West. Not by far. It's close, but Kanye is more successful, flat out. Anyways, I could care less. But I thought it was great. I just kind of wished he made fun of her. The look on her face is priceless.
  21. Why shouldn't we? He single handily lost that game for the Bears, along with the Bears resemblance of a secondary.
  22. - I liked that one because Al sealed the game on yet another Cutler miscue. LOL already injured. Washed up. That was just from this thread alone.
  23. Offensive line couldn't block a JV line, which was part of the problem. I think Hightower had 10 or 11 catches, which should explain the protection. They couldn't even create a proper pocket for Warner to step into. And it's not like San Francisco has a dominating defensive line, it's merely average. He had to keep using Hightower, his dump off or checkdown option. We couldn't take too many downfield chances. Mike Gandy is god-awful, he was great to start last season. Our tight ends are brutal too. Our defense was nice though. Dockett is showing why I had him ranked in my top fifty, he made so many plays it wasn't even funny. He made San Francisco's interior line his [expletive] like he did to Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl. Calais Campbell had a nice game at the other end spot, as well. He collapsed the pocket well, held on in 1-on-1 protection. Allowed our linebackers to flow to the ball. We held Gore to a measly 1.4 YPC, had our way with him. Shaun Hill wasn't very good either. I don't know. It could've gone either way, San Fransisco again had their way with our O-Line on that final drive.
