First of all, yes, they are similar in a sense that they are undersized PG who lack true handles and prefer to score more than create for teammates but that's it.. Curry is a volume shooter compared to Ellis, a slasher. Ellis is a much finisher and is more explosive compared to Curry and probably one of the quickest guards in the league.
