Is it Michael Jordan, arguably the best basketball player of all time and unstoppable in his years in the NBA? Magic Johnson, could play all 5 positions on the court and dominated every one of them. MJ has had run ins with little boys and court(though I think he is innocent), Michael Jordan is a compulsive gambler, and all Magic Johnson did was get HIV. Comparing basketball and music talent is impossible, but what gives Jackson the edge is that basically EVERYONE knows who he was, he's known globally, and he's touched many more lives. He has given to charities more than any pop star. He has the world recorder. The dude was genuinely nice and cared about his fans unlike everyone else.
