The Regime
Kobe Bryant watched Ohio State's double-overtime win over Illinois in the Big 10 tournament and came away convinced of Evan Turner's abilities. “He seemed like the best player in the country to me,” Bryant said of Turner. “…He looked like he has all the tools. I think Wall is a great player, but I like Turner.” Turner entered the NCAA tournament averaging 20.3 points, 9.2 rebounds and 5.9 assists. Bryant likened him to Brandon Roy. “He can shoot, can handle, can go left, smooth, doesn’t rush anything,” Bryant said. “He has a good pace to him.” “You can make a case for either [Wall or Turner],” one NBA general manager said. “Wall is the better athlete. But Turner is the better ball-handler and a more complete player. He’s a guy who can do it all. He’s more experienced, as well.” http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/65456/20100319/kobe_prefers_turner_over_wall/ I'm right there with you Kobe. I understand Wall has a higher ceiling, but it to pass a guy up with Turners skillset. He's one of the most polished offensive players that we've seen in some time. YugoRocketsFan
A younger and more potential player is always better for a young team thats very bad.
CaliCurbStomppa
I hope Turner can be really good in NBA

Owner Real Deal Posted March 23, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted March 23, 2010 He does make a couple of valid points for Turner, one that I didn't really see until I watched Ohio State in the tourney. Turner can go left and still be an effective scorer. Most young players have trouble with that. Wall can drive left, but he'll throw a crossover a lot of times, switching to his right, if a good defender is laying on him. Turner doesn't need to operate that way, and that's a good sign. It would still be tough for me not to select Wall with the first overall pick, though.
Flash
One thing that Turner does struggle with is turnovers where he averages over 4 a game. I like his game a lot but I'll take Wall with my first pick even though Wall averages 4 TO's a game.
Check my Stats
Good thing Kobe isn't the Nets GM then.
KurbyFX
At the end of the day, if the Lakers had a choice, he'd want to play alongside Wall.
The Regime
At the end of the day, if the Lakers had a choice, he'd want to play alongside Wall. Lol, without a doubt. But that is only because we need a pg bad.
Check my Stats
It is because Wall is better.
