Lkr
Washington (CNN) -- Democratic leaders expressed confidence Sunday they would get the 216 votes needed to pass historic health care reform legislation in the House, while Republicans promised to keep fighting. One GOP House member said the party would use "every means at our disposal" to stop the bill from becoming law. The decisive House vote scheduled for later Sunday could define the success or failure of President Obama's administration. The vote is expected to be extremely close. http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/03/21/health.care.main/index.html?hpt=T1
EastCoastNiner
[expletive] YOU BARACK OBAMA! This guy is a piece of [expletive] and is just ruining our country as every day passes. He's trying to kill the private sector. All this bill will do is stagnate the economy, increase unemployment(mainly in the private sector), and create a lower standard of living for people. EastCoastNiner
+1 gazillion However, even if this bill passes, at least the a lot of the incumbents that voted for it will be voted out in November, so it can be overturned. It's not just health-care, but many Democrats have never heard of personal responsibility, and want to rely on hard working people to pay for their [expletive]. Flash
This bill is going to bankrupt this nation within 4 years, you can count on it. Now my family has to pay more for less services. Not only that, but with this bill, advances in medical technology will slow down by a wide margin and you're going to see a lot of doctors leave the profession. This is only going to create another huge medicare system that already failed miserably once before. Just TWO FREAKING DAYS AGO, the NEW ENGLAND JOURNAL OF MEDICINE released a poll showing 46% of Doctors in America would either leave the profession, retire, or stop taking medicare/medicaid patients if Obama Care passes. That's not good considering we're already 60,000 doctors short when it comes to primary care. Great job by the Dems just ramming this bill down our throats rather than try and listen to the people of America like they said they would. Good choice, Ron Paul is easily the best candidate for 2012, he isnt a dumb Republican conservative like McCain or Bush and isnt a dumb Liberal like Obama. Flash
Another little footnote to throw out there. People love to whine and [expletive] about Bush but in Obama's not even 2 year old term he has run up a bigger deficit than Bush did in his entire 8. Great job Obama. YugoRocketsFan
I don't get whats so bad about this? Is it different from health care plans in like Canada and Europe? Well since Obama is obviously a black muslim communist from Kenya, he just wants to take the good old money from the rich, who truly deserve that money who spend it on a Rolls Royce or 300,000$ diamond rings and give people who dont have healthcare some help, who should be dead. Why should they have to pay more so others who don't work can pay less? They already pay higher taxes to begin with.
Guest Need4Sheed
the people who can afford it need to deal with no health insurance. i worked hard to get where i am and not only that my parents did too. for these crackhead lazy mother effers that live off the government already rip us off with welfare and [expletive]. its bs. these people have litters instead of having 1 child at a time
YugoRocketsFan
Why should they have to pay more so others who don't work can pay less? They already pay higher taxes to begin with. Well in a capitalist society, not everybody can work, there have to be homeless people which is why I am all for socialism, everybody can put food in the table, everyone has healthcare and doesnt have to die because they dont have the proper funds to help themselves, capitalism is a system of government for the rich, simple. I am trying to work, but after applying at millions of places, nobody has given me a job, its bull[expletive].

Can't believe how greedy we've become where we can't help your fellow American. So yeah your helping crackheads or w/e but your also helping that single mom who works two jobs and has 3 kids and can barely get by. No system is perfect. I'd rather help everyone as opposed to helping no one. Money is nice and all but at the end it just paper and money can only buy you so much. Let's be honest this plan isn't sending anyone who is getting taxed more to the poor house.
