Multi-Billionaire
When the Lakers were in Golden State last week, the Warriors had the opportunity to tie the game at the end with a three-pointer. Coming out of a timeout, Warriors rookie Stephen Curry walked past Kobe and asked, "You worried?" Bryant, who has seen his share of pressure situations and hit six game-winners this season, sneered at the youngster. "Worried?" he said. "Hit the three-pointer to tie the game and then I'll show you who should be worried. Worried?" Curry and Monta Ellis both missed three-pointers in the final seconds. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/frank_hughes/03/22/kobe.lebron/index.html Rook is feisty Kobe sounds offended lol
TheNextBestThing
"You worried?" If these were eight year old girls, that still wouldn't count as trash talk. This is just a rookie trying to be tough, Kobe being arrogant and unpleasant. Business as usual.

Owner Real Deal Posted March 23, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted March 23, 2010 Didn't see the trash-talking there. What's refreshing, though, was that Ellis and Curry couldn't come through in the end, just as Kobe pointed out. If this were LeBron James or Dwyane Wade, it would be more meaningful. Anyone other than those two, not so much.
Legacy
Neither Ellis or Curry are trash talkers. Ellis is too quiet and Curry is too nice.
Multi-Billionaire
I think a rookie talking like that to a superstar should be considered trash talking... no matter if you classify it as "mild", "severe", "headcase" trashtalking... it's still trashtalk. Kobe asking the second time... "worried?", he sounds offended. lol
Owner Real Deal Posted March 23, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted March 23, 2010 Ah, yeah, Kobe is definitely worried about Stephen Curry. He's biting his nails right now, in fact...gonna be on his mind for the next 3-5 years. He's also worried about all of that trash-talking JR Smith has done, and Shane Battier from last year, and Ron Artest from last season, Matt Barnes this year, Andrei Kirilenko, Rajon Rondo in his face last season, Stephen Jackson when he was defending him earlier this season, and DeShawn Stevenson and the few words he was slinging at Bryant in that last meeting against Dallas. It's all feeding on his brain as we speak. You just know it is. And it's ruining his life. Oh no.

I see your point, but that puppy has just enough psychotic in him to be dangerous. God help him if Ron Artest goes insane, also, but Kobe might avoid that. Being on the same team and all. Probably.
