Haywood Upset He Didn't Start Tuesday

Recommended Posts

Brendan Haywood was disappointed that Erick Dampier started in his place on Tuesday.

"I just work here," Haywood said after the Mavericks' 106-96 victory.

Rick Carlisle said his starting center could vary each night.

"They are a team," Carlisle said of Dampier and Haywood.

Haywood needs to realize he's no longer on the Wizards, and grow up. Even if Dampier starts, chances are Haywood will play still play more minutes, because he's clearly a better player. He can also be a pretty big factor early in the game with the second unit.

You don't see JT [expletive]in' coming off the bench.
