The Regime
Carmelo Anthony believes that the most important thing for LeBron James when it comes to his upcoming free agency is winning. "He's already got that," Anthony said of fame when asked about LeBron signing with the Knicks. "He's already got the money and the fame. I think the only thing weighing in right now is the championship." With that said, Cleveland is closer to a title than New York. "If he feels that he can win a championship in Cleveland, then he will stay. The team in Cleveland is that much better than the team in New York," Anthony added. The Denver Post then asked Anthony if he felt James had already made a decision. "No. Not at all, not at all, not even close." http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/65648/20100329/carmelo_lebron_is_far_from_decision_on_future/
Flash
Melo's right. I don't think Bron knows what he wants to do yet and it all depends on how far Cleveland goes this year in the playoffs. Here's to seeing him in Miami next year!
Cleveland's Finest
Money isn't a factor because we can offer him the most especially with the deal with the China business Dan Gilbert made this season. Dan Gilbert and Danny ferry have shown LeBron they are committed to excellence, getting every possible name they could have during his stint. If we win a title this year though, I could care less if he left. Because he did what he came here to do and the business would then be settled here.
