Derrick Rose is confident that the Bulls will qualify for the playoffs.

Chicago enters Tuesday's action a game behind Toronto for the final postseason berth in the Eastern Conference.

The Bulls have nine games left in the regular season.

"We're still going to make it," Rose told ESPNChicago.com on Tuesday. "You can't think about stuff like [not making the playoffs].

"In my mind, we'll be making the eighth spot. We'll be playing LeBron [James] -- playing Cleveland. The closer we get, the [more] I'm going to think that. We can't walk around acting like we're not going to make it, because that's when things turn on you. Our biggest goal is to make the playoffs, and we're going to make it."

So if Rose says the Bulls are going to make the playoffs, and Chris Bosh says the Raptors are going to make the playoffs, will the universe implode?

Bosh has pretty hair though! Seriously though, Bulls didn't help themselves tonight.

Tough call, honestly. Chicago is going to have to dig deep, though.

@ Washington

vs. Charlotte

vs. Milwaukee

vs. Cleveland (L)

@ New Jersey

@ Toronto (WHOA!)

vs. Boston

@ Charlotte

That's Chicago's remaining schedule.

vs. LA Clippers

@ Philly

vs. Golden State

@ Cleveland (L)

vs. Boston

@ Atlanta

vs. Chicago (WHOA! again)

@ Detroit

vs. New York

There's Toronto's.

That's a really tough stretch for Chicago though. They can't slip against Milwaukee and Charlotte at home, will probably have to beat Charlotte, and split against Boston and Charlotte at the end.

Toronto closes with gimmes.

I think based on the Raptor's schedule the edge hast to go to them to land the 8 seed... Which is scary, because the Raptors if everyone would play up to their capabilities isnt a bad team at all... Hedo just has his head up his ____ and Bosh rarely seems interested in Raptor's basketball here lately... I think he has all but packed his bags and put his house on the market in Toronto! lol

I'm inclined to believe that Bosh would be more enthusiastic about the season if Hedo wasn't such a loser on both ends of the court.
