Which college to choose?

I'm currently attending Valencia Community College with probably about a year or less remaining before I can transfer. And I'm torn on whether to go to UCF which is like right here, or UF. If I stayed local I would save money but also still be living at home, and not really experiencing the "college lifestyle" to where as I would be getting by going to UF. But then seeing family and local friends becomes harder. What do you guys think, or what would you do?

The thing which may hep though, since I assume you'll be a junior after you graduate and transfer, if you graduate from UF or UCF, it will only take two or three years as opposed to four or five, which will be easier on tuition as opposed to if you were jumping into UF straight out of high school. It depends on your financial situation. If you're comfortable paying more and working it off right after, you may be okay in going to UF. If you're worried about loans, go to UCF. Paying back loans is a [expletive] from what I know.

*All this assumes you'll be paying for college yourself and you're broke.*

If you have the money then i would absolutely say to UF. i love living at school and i could never imagine commuting. if i was in your situation i would consider paying extra myself to live at school. but there is nothing wrong with commuting if that is what you have to do, but id avoid it

I commute to school and I hate it, but I also think I'd hate living there. I just hate many aspects of college altogether.

The point is everyone has a different opinion and wants to do their own thing, so just do what you feel most comfortable doing.
