bigdog17k
NBA fines Kevin GarnettBoston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett has been fined $25,000 for publicly criticizing game officials and for using inappropriate language during a postgame interview, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations. Garnett was fined for comments he made following the Celtics’ 109-104 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, March 31. Cobb
Garnet doesn't have much room to talk. He doesn't set many legal picks anyways.
TheNextBestThing
I wish all jobs had the level of accountability that NBA refs enjoy. If a customer ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, the guy at Burger King could give him a Whopper Jr. with extra pickles. If the customer complains, the manager could jump over the counter and stab him. Edited April 3, 2010 by LocalGunfighter
bigdog17k
^ Refs kill me, I mean at least when bad calls are going both ways its tolerable. But when your watching a game with tremendous lopsided officiating it can be brutal. And then when your team has something to say, they get fined or suspended. It's like wtf. It wasn't that lopsided, and KG shouldn't have been doubting the ref's ability to run the game and dropping the F bomb to the media. It's an obvious fine, there is no "like wtf"....
