NBA fines Kevin Garnett

Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett has been fined $25,000 for publicly criticizing game officials and for using inappropriate language during a postgame interview, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

Garnett was fined for comments he made following the Celtics’ 109-104 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, March 31.

After that game, Garnett and the Celtics weren’t pleased by the amount of calls Thunder star Kevin Durant was receiving. More on this later today.

^ Refs kill me, I mean at least when bad calls are going both ways its tolerable. But when your watching a game with tremendous lopsided officiating it can be brutal. And then when your team has something to say, they get fined or suspended. It's like wtf. :(

KG has no room to talk with his illegal screens and the lopsided calls his team got in 2008

It wasn't that lopsided, and KG shouldn't have been doubting the ref's ability to run the game and dropping the F bomb to the media. It's an obvious fine, there is no "like wtf"....
