The Regime
Tracy McGrady has been taking his comeback slowly, but he is confident he will return to form next season. “There’s no question I will be an All-Star,” McGrady said. “Not right now, but next year when I come into the season, I will be an All-Star-caliber player, there’s no question.” He added, for emphasis, “I will be myself next year.” McGrady dunked for the first time in a New York uniform just this week. McGrady said he could see the progress. “I feel my explosiveness coming back,” he said. New York is near the top of McGrady’s list for free agent, but the chance to win a title and proximity to his wife and four children, who remain in Houston will be bigger issues than money. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/65714/20100402/mcgrady_believes_hell_be_an_all_star_again/

YugoRocketsFan
If he isnt injured, and can easily play at least 75 games, he COULD. But I doubt that happens

ChosenOne
I wish the best for him, but I highly doubt this happens. Unless of course it is like the Iverson situation.
The Next Knick
I'm glad he's optimistic, but we'll have to see how he really works over the summer and if he can get back to 100% health. I fell asleep on last night's game, I'm still waiting to see him for more then a good 30 minutes.
JWaLL
Doubt it, now that he isn't a Rocket and won't have every Chinese citizen voting for him.

Check my Stats
Athleticism is all he had before, he can't shoot, his handle is still good but without his quickness and explosiveness he will be completely ineffective. He couldn't score more efficient than like 43% before, now he will struggle to even stay above 40% if he intends on becoming a volume shooter again. At least he gave us the ESPN highlights.
