bigdog17k
Not sure if I have one coming in or not, I can't see it in the mirror. But I feel this slight hard edge surrounded by gum. I'm nervous cause I heard these suck... I've done the whole braces thing, and my last dentist checkup was probably back in mid February of this year. Nobody has said anything to me there, and said everything looked good. Anybody know what age you get them around?

I'm confused... because if they don't cause you physical problems why take them out?

fly3rs18
yeah, they arent always a problem, but why keep them if there is a good chance they will mess something up  i got mine out last year. it really wasnt all that bad
Poe
I suppose I'm lucky. When I had braces (which I just got them off last week), I had to get four teeth pulled because apparently my mouth was too crowded for them. It sucked at the time, but it looks like the benefit is that I'm supposed to keep my wisdom teeth once those start growing.

Don't mean to sound like a parent, lol, but there's no way you're gunna know otherwise.

reno
Get it checked out, it can screw up your teeth, especially if you already had braces. I had mine removed, and since they put you to sleep beforehand, the procedure is not painful at all. I don't remember any of it until I woke up, then I fell asleep again in the car. Just have to eat lots of smushy food afterwords for a week or two, no solids as it can rupture your stitches.
Cobb
I got mine out last summer. First few days weren't too much fun but after 4-5 days you should be back to normal.
NomarFachix
Real men pull out their own wisdom teeth.
Riot
Gotta get mine out soon too. I was actually supposed to make an appointment for it today but it's probably too late in the day now.
