Teletopez
Sorry to hear you guys are missing out. I noted two bad pitches from Burnett in the game. He got away with the pitch to Pedroia that was thrown almost exactly where Park threw it two days ago (Pedroia fouled it a few feet left of the pole). Then he had to pay for the pitch right down the middle to Martinez. His pitches look pretty impressive, though. Control isn't totally there. Our offense has hit the ball well a few times off Lester. Lester has had to work, but he's been getting out of some jams, which we need to fix.

BasX
I love the Baseball playoffs but 162 games in a season is almost as boring as it gets.

NomarFachix
If you expand it to soccer, I'm sure you can find a ton more than Yanks/Sox. If you're talking American sports, I think it's tops, Duke/Heels is a very close 2nd.
Teletopez
I'm not just talking about the heat between the two fanbases. I'm talking about having games like a 2-0 win in 15 innings and 5-hour battles, etc.

Lkr
no one cares about Yankees/Red Sox unless you live in the northeast. seriously. outside of that area, no one really gives two [expletive]s. ESPN would like you to believe otherwise, but it really isn't true. At least some NFL rivalries like Colts-Patriots is entertaining for everyone to watch that is a football fan. Especially because they don't play 50 times every season. I won't put Duke/UNC over this rivalry though.

It's the biggest rivalry in baseball and features 2 teams with fans all across the country. You'd be crazy to think no one cares about it outside the northeast. kingfish
No one over here on the west coast cares about it at all. No seriously apart from the people that moved here from New York or Boston people could care less. Its really just Boston and New York, people in Florida cause thats where they have their spring training, and other Boston and New York fans that moved out of their city. NomarFachix
Wow, speaking for the entire west coast. Sweet! Yankees and Red Sox have two of the biggest bandwagon fanbases in all of sports. They're everywhere. Maybe not in your town... lol... but they're out there.

Lkr
yes they have the fans, but the media doesn't go ZOMG RED SOX YANKEES OMG OMG OMG STOP EVERYTHING like ESPN does. most analysts on the west coast would rather watch a Giants/Dodgers series

Not surprising.
