BeefUp
I guess its never to early to make you predictions for next year.. I was reading an article about it and thought it would be a good discussion to have here. Heres the article: http://blogs.msg.com/gameon/2010/04/06/on-the-hardwood-early-top-five-for-2011/ I don't fully agree with it tho I'm going to say that its going to be Villanova, Butler , Georgetown , Michigan State and Duke but not in that particular order. What do you guys think?

Flash
No Monroe for Gerogetown next could be mean big trouble. Without him I don't think they can be considered top 5.

Without him I don't think they can be considered top 5. http://collegebasketball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1069126 Under Monroe's name it says 'will stay in school' Georgetown has no one from their team graduating and they're bringing in 3 4-star recruits. Along with MSU and maybe Purdue, I'd consider G'town a favourite next season if this is true.

He later said that he wouldn't make his decision for a while I'm pretty sure. He's an interesting case because he can either raise his stock with a strong showing next year or kill it. We'll see what he does.
steviej315
omg you honestly cares about the preseason rankings i mean seriusly, there a joke anyways jus look at texas, unc, cal, michigan, and washinton all like top top 15 i believe in preseason poll and not one team did ANYTHING, then look at teams like syracuse, kansas state, and baylor all three teams actually did sometin, espicially syracuse predicted to get 6th in big east and not even make NIT, and they ended up winnin big east title and a #1 seed in the NCAA tourny and possibly would have won if it wasnt for tht dude arinze injury, but bottom line who cares about preseason rankings there a joke!!!!!!! BeefUp
I know that Coach K. always has something to say. (which isn't always a good thing). But my prediction still stands - Duke will definitely be in the top 5. Without a doubt.http://www.msg.com/blogs/jon-rothstein/on-the-hardwood-coack-k-5-12-1.42607 What do you guys think?
