Owner Real Deal Posted April 9, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted April 9, 2010 While the biggest part of me thinks we're just struggling to win these last few games of the season...there's something else I've thought about: do you think it's even remotely possible that Phil Jackson wants three consecutive home games in the Finals? Maybe the Lakers would have trouble winning three consecutive road games, and he doesn't want to be down 3-2? Lakers goggles off for some of you...is it possible that Phil and Kobe are looking ahead to the Finals and any home/road situation we're putting ourselves in? Right now, the Magic are tied with us, and they have the tiebreaker based on conference record (which is BS).
kingfish
I seriously doubt it. We havent looked good on either home or road, but even worse on road. Right now, we just need to be worried about timing and rhytm. And Kobe missing games is not helping that.
The Regime
Winnings three straight home games is really hard, I highly doubt Phil is taking that approach. We're just is a super slump right now, we have a few games left to refocus and get our swagger back.
Warren2ThaG
We cannot win it all without HC vs. CLE/ORL, ya even ORL. Unless Kobe is somehow in his prime again..

Winning three consecutive home games is tough, but this team winning three consecutive road games is next to impossible.
YugoRocketsFan
Dont know, but this HCA thing could bite the Lakers if they get to the finals. HCA has always been important, especially if there is a Game 7 (which I hope there is, cause the last final sucked).
