Check my Stats
Which team do you like better to win a title in the next 5 years?
Warren2ThaG
Toss up in my opinion, Lil' edge to Portland if Oden gets it rolling and wrapped like egg rolls.
ManOnTheMoon
Thunder if Durant stays there all 5 years.
moeroadkill
well given that blazers have all the right pieces when healthy ill give them the edgeif thunder can pick up that big man then ill give it to the thunder
La Bomba
Without a doubt it's the Thunder for me. They have all the right pieces and all they need is a center at this point. Kevin Durant is the best scorer in the league and possibly a top five player. Russel Westbrook can score, and distribute on offense and he's already one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. Jeff Green can guard multiple possessions and is a great combo-forward, They have good defensive players coming off the bench I just love all the pieces this team has. Blazers are great, don't get me wrong, but they don't have a player of Durant's caliber. No, Roy is not Durant's caliber if you ask me. Dr. Feelgood
Well, Roy is a three time all-star in the four years he's been in the league while Durant is a one time all-star in three years. Just saying, lol.
The Regime
Blazers. I like the individual peices, and all they need is stability at center whether its Oden, Camby, or someone else. Brandon Roy can score, defend, and his unselfishness makes him a fun player to play with. Aldridge is a solid compliment to Roy, he can spread the floor with his shooting and is a decent post player; he needs to work on his defense but with time and experience around Camby I think he can mold into a top 5 pf. His length and offense sometimes reminds me of KG. Batum is a guy that a lot of people dont know about, but he is a really underrated defender. This season alone you could make a case for him making first team all defense. He's a decent spot up shooter, have him work on that part of his game this offseason and you have yourself a solid player. The center position has slowed the Blazers the last few seasons, but I think with a healthy center they are a possible top 3 team in the west. The bench for the Blazers is solid granted they probably all wont be together for the next 5 seasons. Rudy when healthy is a good three point shooter and energy guy, Bayless can score, Webster can stretch the floor, and Pryz gives them toughness. It's a nice mixture of offense and defense.
moeroadkill
Well, Roy is a three time all-star in the four years he's been in the league while Durant is a one time all-star in three years. Just saying, lol. that has nothing to do with anything lol. that just means more people knew about roy and the blazers. look at granger last year and all the hype that was around him. where is it now? Vitasoy
Thunder if they upgrade their front court.
JWaLL
Well, Roy is a three time all-star in the four years he's been in the league while Durant is a one time all-star in three years. Just saying, lol.Lol like that means anything? Durant >>>> Roy Give me the Thunder. The overall potential of that team just seems a lot higher than the Blazers. Who knows how Oden will be when he returns from his injury, and if he'll even stay healthy. The Thunder dominate behind their young selfless scorers, and they're all only going to improve in the next few years.
Owner Real Deal Posted April 13, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 OKC will have the money to make a play for Bosh this off-season, and if not him, another big man. So, assuming they get one that's a legit threat in the post, it's the Thunder, hands down. Durant's defense is slightly improving, and if he becomes an above-average defender, the Thunder will be very, very tough to knock out of the playoffs.
Sħãlïq™
OKC Thun! Durantula, Russell Westbrook, J-Green... + off-season addition..They got the potential!
CaliCurbStomppa
Thunder for sure but i rather see Denver win first before seeing Durant holding a nba championship title
YugoRocketsFan
Wth at the responses here. On a basketball court there are 2 sides, the Blazers are one of the better defensive teams, Roy and Oden are exceptional defenders. The Thunder have too many weaknesses, which includes no centers, and defense, those are 2 very important pieces you need to win a championship, the Blazers also have a better bench, its easy for me, Blazers. His Greatness
Portland is the surer team, the only thing they're missing is health. OKC is still a few major pieces from contending.

Lemon
Thunder are top 10 in defensive efficiency this season. In fact, they rank higher than Spurs and right below Cavs. That's really impressive for a young core. http://espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/teamstats/_/sort/defensiveEff/order/false

Sun Tzu
I gotta go with OKC, although they don't have many good big men I reckon they could sign one in this free agency.
Warren2ThaG
Lakers couldn't either. What's your point? Shows Portland doesn't rely on their best player....... Lemon
Shows Portland doesn't rely on their best player....... Plus were overrated this year. got it? thx What I'm saying is that one game doesn't determine the better team. That's why playoffs series are 7 games. I don't like the way Blazers are going either. Oden is a wild card and Andre Miller isn't going to be there forever. Thunder has a more stable core with a lot more potential, and if they get a solid, young free agent big then the only thing they're missing is experience. The way they're building has been just about flawless. Blazers have ton of depth ya, but if they're going to stick with Oden I just don't think they'll be elite because that's relying on an inconsistency.
