we dont have a 2nd round pick..... thats why we go defense first. running backs are easy to find in this league, safeties and good pass rushing OLB. not so much. i would rather have jahvid best over spiller anyway, but again running back is not a need on this team, we would be essentially waisting a first on a position that we don't need. dez. LOL no way we getting him after we just got marshall. we can get a wr if neccesary in the later rounds. this isn't madden man, there is no chance on this green earth that anyone takes an injury prone ronnie brown for a 2nd. running backs are too easy to find. our defense was terrible last year and it needs to be adressed. we currently have no FS, no DT, and no OLB. there is no chance in the world that we draft spiller or dez in the first round.

 

The 2nd round pick comes from trading Ronnie which I definitely think we could get for him. There's no way that Best is a better NFL back than Spiller will be.

 

One interesting scenario I saw online was Joe Haden. Obviously we've got Smith and Davis but they said we could draft Haden and move Smith over to free safety. I doubt that happens but it was interesting nonetheless.

 

I like Spiller at 12 because he'd do wonders in the wildcat and splitting carries with Ricky. He'd give us a dimension that we've never had with a running back.

when you have no second round pick then you cant just use your first round pick for "a new dimension". you fill your holes first and rb isnt their biggest need

Premier backs? We really don't know what we're gonna get this year. Ricky is getting older and Ronnie is openly being shopped. I don't know how else to say it. I think both Morgan and Pierre Paul are overrated.

 

IMO if we want a safety we'll trade up to Cleveland's spot and get Berry if KC doesn't snatch him up first.
