Vinyard
I'm leaning towards getting a macbook, because honestly, PCs always seem to give me some kind of problems. My PC is maybe 4-5 years old now, and I'm pretty sure it started to crapping out after the first year. I can't tell you how many times I had to reinstall because of some kind of problem. Phightins
Oh for Christ's sake... I have a Mac and am happy with it, most of you guys have PCs and are happy with them. Everyone is happy, and nobody is stupid for having their preference. Really, has there ever been a more pointless thread? It has swayed so far from the original topic lol. fly3rs18
lemme kno next time u have pc probs id absolutely love to. i had a desktop pc for the past few years that my dad built for very cheap and i never had a problem with it. i got a dell laptop over the summer for college and since then i have had one USB problem, so i called dell and they fixed it within 10 minutes over the phone. my last PC problem was when a stick of ram didn't work. I sent it into Gskill and got a replacement stick within a week. Great service exactly. and if the same thing happens to a mac (same chance of having this problem as a pc)? apple probably tells you to send your whole laptop in and would id be surprised if they didnt charge for it
Lkr
yeah, ram defects happen to anything. there is always gonna be 5-10% of a product that doesn't work that gets sold lol

NomarFachix
Bump? First think of how many people you've heard complain about their PC.Then think of how many people you've heard complain about their Mac. Then decide.

Paul
funny this thread is posted. i just got a macbook tonight and typing on it right now. this computer is absolutely amazing. i mean anyone that hates on the mac so look at the screen and then shutup. this screen compared to any computer i have had is by FAR the clearest most precise computer screen i've seen. i mean i used to be a pc fanboy but after using this mac that i just bought, i feel like i will never go back ever.
