xx.
Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley wants to meet with Allen Iverson and is seriously considering a one-year, $5 million offer, according to team insiders. The Memphis front office is split on whether or not signing Iverson would be a wise move. The final decision will rest with Heisley. Flight
idk if this makes sense. It'll sell tickets I guess.
The Goods
Memphis got Conley who is a promising PG, it'll be interesting to see how the coach would manage their minutes.
Cleveland's Finest
I don't get how it will really sell tickets. Did Iverson sell in Detroit well? The arena looked empty usually when the Cavs played them during the regular season. Bad move by Memphis. They should build on their current team and save the money. Iverson should be on a team like Sacramento, Charlotte, etc...with no real star. Imo, Memphis has stars in Gay and Mayo.
Flight
Sac has Kevin Martin, he's the most underrated star in the league.
Cleveland's Finest
Sac has Kevin Martin, he's the most underrated star in the league. But Martin isn't as aggressive and mainly shoots spot up jumpers.
Legacy
But Martin isn't as aggressive and mainly shoots spot up jumpers.Evans will soon become a beast. He doesn't need Iverson [expletive]ing him up. Martin is good too. The only team I see Iverson doing good with is with the Bucks or possibly the Warriors since Nellie would let him do anything he wants. Cleveland's Finest
Never thought of the Bucks....especially if they trade Sessions for some young wings, then AI could have all the floor he wants in the backcourt. AI/Curry would be lethal in GS.
BlueDevil
I dont think Memphis would be too bad for Iverson, its just for 1 year anyway. But he would take shots away from Mayo/Gay, so that wouldnt be helpful, but he could give them another scoring touch. I'm guessing hes out to prove he can still play in this league, and will play with a chip on his shoulder. His Greatness
But Martin isn't as aggressive and mainly shoots spot up jumpers.Uh, Martin is one of the league's best at getting to the line, coupled with an unprecedented first step. It's probably why he's so injury prone. He can play off the ball and catch and shoot, but your assessment is way off.
Klashnekoff
Cleveland doesn't know much.. i wouldn't pay him attention.. After all he thinks Brandon Jennings is a thug..
moeroadkill
But Martin isn't as aggressive and mainly shoots spot up jumpers.then why does he go to the line like 10 times a game?
OSUBucksfan09
Ai, Mayo and Conley???? Why? I mean let Conley and Mayo run the show.
La Bomba
So basically ruin Mike Conley´s progress just so Memphis can get some news. I hate the decisions this team has been making this summer.

Karl Malone
This makes no sense. Unless they want Iverson to mentor the young guards i dont understand this move.
OldChili
I don't think Iverson would be willing to mentor the young guards.
