Warren2ThaG
http://multimedia.heraldinteractive.com/images/20100418/66f607_arms.jpgThe NBA is expected to suspend Kevin Garnett for Saturday's elbow to the face of Quentin Richardson, which kicked off a mini-scrum in Game 1's matchup of the Celtics and Heat. The Herald's Steve Bulpett writes that a suspension seems "almost certain," and it's hard to imagine the league letting Garnett play after television replays clearly show that his elbow was thrown intentionally. Garnett may not be the only player suspended though, as Richardson didn't really have any business trying to push Garnett away from injured teammate Paul Pierce. Additionally, Richardson referred to KG and Pierce as "actresses," which was probably the line of the night.---http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/basketball/celtics/view.bg?articleid=1248111&srvc=rss&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+bostonherald%2Fsports%2Fbasketball+%28Celtics+%26+NB
ManOnTheMoon
Didn't he elbow him twice?
Owner Real Deal Posted April 18, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted April 18, 2010 Didn't he elbow him twice? The first elbow was actually at Richardson's side, and it was pretty soft, just to clear him out of the way. The second elbow was to crack him in the face, which deserves a suspension.
Flash
LMAO, I love how ESPN is spinning this like KG was "protecting" Paulina after his horrible career threatening injury.

Lets see if Miami can take advantage of this and win the next game.
Jenneral
He definitely deserves a suspension for that. You'd think a veteran such as himself could stay composed for the last 40 seconds of a game to avoid this sort of thing.
Vinyard
Garnett is such a punk. I can't stand the guy.
Flash
Less than 24 hours after Kevin Garnett took a shot at Quentin Richardson with his left elbow, Joakim Noah took a shot at KG. Noah was asked about the playoffs in general after the Bulls’ practice in Cleveland today, and he launched into a diatribe on Garnett. “I’m going to say it: He’s a dirty player,” Noah told reporters. On the subject of whether Garnett should be suspended, Noah said, “I don’t make the decisions, but he’s always swinging elbows man. I’m hurting right now because of an elbow he threw. It’s unbelievable. He’s a dirty player. It’s one thing to be competitive and compete. But don’t be a dirty player man. He’s a dirty player. “That’s messed up. I’m really excited about that (Heat-Celtics) series. It’s going to be fun. I hope they put (Jamaal) Magloire in. “He knows what he’s doing,” Noah went on. “It’s messed up. It’s wrong. It’s not right. And then after that to say … whatever I shouldn’t even be talking about this stuff. It’s crazy.” LMAO Noah is the man.
