Difficult Logic Question That Most Would Get Wrong

Recommended Posts

You die you go to a room with two identical doors with indentical guards, one guards the door to heaven the other to hell, you have to choose your door and your only allowed to ask one question. The man guarding heaven always tells the truth and the man guarding hell allways tells a lie. What question do you ask?

*Hint: They have no prior knoledge to you and they do not know anything of each other, just about their door and nothing else. :glasses:

and is the heaven guard in front of the heaven door and the hell guard in front of the hell door?

if the heaven guard is in front of the heaven door then i would just ask one guard "what color is the sky" or some basic easy question like that. if its right then i go into that door, if its wrong then i go into the other door

does that work?

The guy in front of Hell would say 'Heaven' and the guy in front of heaven says ' Heaven', so which Heaven you go for?

No I didn't mean like... are you in front of the Heaven door, I mean... Like, which door are you in front of, this one or that one. They will both show you to the same door, Heaven.

How bout a real tough one can anyone figure out this riddle?

3 guys decide to check into a hotel, it is $30 so they split it 3 ways $10 bucks each. They go up to their rooms but when they are up in their rooms the clerk realizes he [expletive]ed up and its only $25 dollars. So he gives the bellboy $5 dollars and sends him on up. On the way the bell boy says to himself 3 guys 5 dollars? So the bell hop pockets 2 of the 5 dollars. So he gives a dollar back to each of the men so now each guy paid 9 dollars. 9+9+9 = $27 + $2 the bell hop kept, wheres the other dollar?.....

$9 x 3 = $27 The 3 men gave the hotel $30. The hotel gave five to the bellboy, who kept $2 and gave the men $3. So, the hotel had $25, the bellboy had $2 and each of the 3 men got back $1 or a total of $3 to the men so: $25 [hotel] + $2[the dude] + $3[men] = $30

i think my math is right

That doesn't work because you subtracted 3 by giving 3$ back to the three guys, so it equals 27, not 30. The three guys actually paid 27 dollars, 25 paid for the actually price, with 2 extra given to the bellboy. The other 3 dollars was simply handed back to them.
