fish7718
$9 x 3 = $27 The 3 men gave the hotel $30. The hotel gave five to the bellboy, who kept $2 and gave the men $3. So, the hotel had $25, the bellboy had $2 and each of the 3 men got back $1 or a total of $3 to the men so: $25 [hotel] + $2[the dude] + $3[men] = $30 i think my math is rightYou just bypassed the whole riddle, lol
fish7718
That doesn't work because you subtracted 3 by giving 3$ back to the three guys, so it equals 27, not 30. The three guys actually paid 27 dollars, 25 paid for the actually price, with 2 extra given to the bellboy. The other 3 dollars was simply handed back to them.Correct
