GM2: Oklahoma City @ LA Lakers

Recommended Posts

Ibaka was flying everywhere tonight blocking everything in his sights..well so was the entire OKC team. Sucks Durant passed it up at the end, but it was the correct decision knowing there was 3 Lakers in his way.

Atleast we got out with a win though...

oh yeah..why didnt the Thunder coach not play Thabo at all intil Collison fouled out? Pretty stupid if you ask me since Green wasnt producing much on offense.

Pretty sure it was because of offensive liabilities. Though it was probably a hard choice given that Kobe made a few late game shots and Green is supposed to be better offensively. So in hindsight, it was the wrong decision.

"sigh of relief*

Props to the Thunder last night, they were really active on the defensive end. I can't remember the last time I watched a game where a team was so determined to keep the other team from scoring in the paint. It was blocked after blocked shot, maybe our bigs can learn a thing or two.

Kobe played much better than game 1, but it's still not the same Kobe that we need to win the 'chip. I remember as half time Charles Barkley said something along the lines of "Kobe needs to make the game easier for him". I totally agreed with Barkley and it looked like Kobe might have taken his advice. In the first half Kobe was playing a little too much 1 on 1 basketball imo and was forcing the issue, but we saw a different Kobe in the second half who was patient. Alot of Kobe's second half success though has to do with Thabo's benching, I understand the Thunder are looking to spread the floor with shooters but outside Thabo there is no one that can guard Kobe.

Artest is so broke, he needs to get in the f'ing gym and shoot around for a couple hours lol. The Thunder are giving him so much room to shoot but Artest isn't making the most of his opportunities.

Decent game overall, I expect better results in Game 3 even though we're on the road.
