Dr. Feelgood
The Portland Trail Blazers are working toward securing Marcus Camby to a contract extension, according to sources with knowledge of the talks. Sources said Monday that the two sides had already been negotiating toward a new deal that would keep Camby off the free-agent market this summer. One source said a deal, if completed, would likely span two years in excess of $20 million.......... http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=5114282 Listening to the local radio station and they're saying that it's pretty much a done deal and that they just have to get all the details done but he will likely sign an extension with the Blazers for two years worth about 25 million. The Regime
Good stuff, they need some kind of backup plan. I wonder who is going to start next season, Oden or Camby?
CaliCurbStomppa
Good stuff, they need some kind of backup plan. I wonder who is going to start next season, Oden or Camby? My guess is Camby since Oden cant stay healthy for his life.
Warren2ThaG
Is Przybilla leaving? or are they signing Camby to trade him
The Regime
Is Przybilla leaving? or are they signing Camby to trade him Based on Portland history of injuries, I don't think it would be a bad idea to keep all three. Maybe Pryz could play a little bit of four and back up Aldridge.
Dr. Feelgood
Well, Joel will still be rehabbing his knee probably until mid next season, if not longer. Plus, it's nice to have the depth at center with Joel, Oden, and Przy.
Cobb
Good to see this happening because it means Portland's priorities lie on fielding a competitive team. Now I'm curious to see what they do with Pryzbilla.
