The Regime
Suns forward Amar'e Stoudemire threw an elbow in a crowd on Thursday night in Game 3 against the Trail Blazers. At first look the elbow was incident, but upon further review it looks more and more troublesome. Phoenix coach Alvin Gentry is worried that the forward might face a suspension from the NBA. The league suspended Celtics forward Kevin Garnett for a much more obvious and pointed elbow earlier this week. "After what we've been through in the past ... " Gentry said, recalling the past suspensions of Stoudemire and Boris Diaw in a playoff series against the Spurs. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/66150/20100423/suns_worried_amare_could_face_punishment/ I didn't see the incident and I didnt hear about it so I'm assuming it's nothing serious. For those who did see it, is it anything that warrants a suspension?
Make It Naaaashty
It was verrrrry close to hitting Aldridge sqaure in the face, luckily LaMarcus moved at the last second to save Amare from suspension. It was a punk move by Amare, idk wtf he was doing. Edited April 24, 2010 by Prodigy
Dr. Feelgood
Just reported on ESPN.com that he received a flagrant 1 foul for the elbow, which is one point. Three points results in a suspension, so I guess two more flagrant one fouls or a flagrant two and he misses a game. It was a very punk move by Amare and I honestly think he should of been suspended. He was inches away from hitting LaMarcus square in the face.
