Warren2ThaG
http://a.espncdn.com/i/headshots/nfl/players/65/9703.jpgJets trade RB Washington to Seahawks--------RENTON, Wash. (AP)—New Seahawks coach Pete Carroll is rebuilding a broken stable of running backs through trades for veterans—ones with issues. Seattle acquired recuperating running back Leon Washington(notes) and a seventh-round draft choice from the New York Jets for a fifth-round pick in Saturday’s draft. Earlier Saturday, Carroll traded with Tennessee to get his former Southern California running back, LenDale White(notes), a burly, fading star who lost his Titans job last season to record-setting runner Chris Johnson. That deal also included draft picks.---http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-seahawks-jetstrade
Flash
Seattle has had by far the best draft weekend of anyone. Carroll is going hard right now.

fly3rs18
great trades by seattle. washington and white have the potential to be a great duo, and they got them for really cheap. almost no risk, high high reward
bigdog17k
Wow I like this move a lot. Really good HB for a 7th. Seahawks following the Mariners style trend, city seems 2 b doin' it right.
xx.
I watched Leon Washington a lot and he was definitely the best RB on the Jets team when healthy... this kid does everything and is a great back, Seattle is gonna love him. Closest thing to Reggie Bush in the league
Lkr
I want to know how the hell they got him + a 7th rounder for just a 5th round pick! I know the Jets were stacked with 4 backs, but they could have got SOMETHING in return for washington

Lkr
is carroll head coach and GM? or just head coach?I THINK Carroll chose the GM for the team. Either way, he has huge influence as coach Edited April 24, 2010 by Lkr
bigdog17k
Whatever he is, he's saving this team.
Warren2ThaG
Whatever he is, he's saving this team. Only problem I have now is what is the QB situation? i wonder if he knows... Hasselbeck will be our starter, but who knows if he can be good like he was before or is he stays healthy... idk if Whitehurst or Teel are ready

NomarFachix
Both. It's a dual role. Carroll is not the general manager.

I see you going QB in the first 2 rounds next year. Ryan Mallet, Christian Ponder and maybe even Jacory Harris could all come out next year so we'll see.
