NomarFachix
I'm a hopeless homer, so obviously I liked all of the picks. Pierre-Paul will develop slowly for the Giants and will have a chance to learn and rotate. Linval was a huge need for run D and to open our backers up in pursuit. Jones is our fourth competent safety, but after the digression of Deon Grant and the health of Kenny Phillips, we need the depth... You saw what happened last year with C.C. Brown and Aaron Rouse starting. Dillard was a solid pick, he was overshadowed (for obvious reasons) by Suh, but I think he comes in and battles Goff down to the wire for the starting MLB spot. Petrus is a monster, he put up 45 reps at the combine. Sheer strength will help eventually in the running game, but he has a lot of work to do on technique. Tracy is a 'tweener we hope we can convert to OLB ala Reggie Torbor, and the punter Dodge became a need pick after Feagles told us he was retiring. Camp battle between Dodge and Aussie rules Jy Bond should be fun to watch. We signed a bunch of UDFA's, including: TE Jake Ballard, Ohio State | OL Jimmy Cordle, Ohio State | WR Duke Calhoun, Memphis | DT Nate Collins, Virginia | WR Victor Cruz, UMass | RB Daniel Dufrene, Illinois | OL Dennis Landolt, Penn State | DE Ayanga Okpokowuruk, Duke | G Chris Poole, Holy Cross | QB Dom Randolph, Holy Cross | CB Leon Wright, Duke I like Randolph to make at least the practice squad, possibly even #3 QB. He was extremely productive at Holy Cross, and while he might not have the physical tools, he has the QB mind to possibly make #2 QB eventually. He might make the team initially as a holder; we have nobody capable after losing Feagles.

NomarFachix
Duke Calhoun is a god. Just saying. Giants beat writer really likes him and was tweeting that the Giants should draft him from the 5th round on. What's he good at?
NomarFachix
I wonder if we are going to trade Osi I don't think so, I heard the best we were offered was a 5th. I don't think we're looking to move him right now anyway, maybe if he has another down year.
La Bomba
Giants beat writer really likes him and was tweeting that the Giants should draft him from the 5th round on. What's he good at?He' very fast and he's an improving route runner. He's Memphis's all time leading receiver in just about every receiving category and that's pretty surprising considering how bad Memphis quarter backs have been in the last few years. Surprised he didn't even get drafted after a pretty good pro day.
