 , im sorry Dwyane. He really needs to wait and see who comes to Miami this summer. As Kobe would say, Wade is goin to a gun fight with butter knives. -_-

*SMH* at the point guard play in Miami's playoff "run". So far on paper though, these guys look pretty good. Who should Miami bring in to help out Wade? New coach, maybe? More playoff experience? Its not like Wade has an untalented supporting cast. Just my opinion.

Our supporting cast is nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. Charles Barkley made a great point after the Denver game last night about us and a couple other teams. Our coaching staff relies so much on one player (Wade) that in turn, it hurts the other players around him. We run nothing at all for Beasley, Q only gets three's off of broken attempts of Wade or JO posting up. Dorell gets nothing but shot attempts late in the shot clock. We really rely too much on Wade.

As for the PG play. Raymond Felton is the guy I want but Randy Foye would be another name I'd consider. I know he had a bad year this year but he can do what we need him to do. He can shoot the 3 and run our offense. Kyle Lowry is another guy I'd love to have here.

The Heat run clearouts for Beasley because its the only thing he knows how to do well, and they run post ups for O'Neal. Sometimes they post Q-Rich, and they used to run curls for Cook. What do you want them to do, post Udonis Haslem? Isolate Joel Anthony at the wing? Chalmers' handle is too shaky to iso or screen/roll for, and Arroyo isn't talented. Wright is a broken play player. These stop gap point guards aren't difference makers, go get a rea lpoint guard, the Heat will have the cash for it.

The Heat have options, if they didn't they wouldn't have any business being in the playoffs, but they don't have a team of former all stars like the Celtics.

The way to beat the Celtics has nothing to do with how many touches so and so gets. You have to take advantage of their old legs and outrun them. You beat the Celtics by playings with energy and intensity, which would eventually wear them out. The Heat did that in the first quarter yesterday, and the Heat outscored them 30 to 15.

Simply put, the slower the tempo the more that Boston has the advantage. The faster the tempo the more the Heat have the advantage.

Also, the fact that the Celtics took so long to "turn it on" this season, and the fact that it happened so quickly in the postseason, the fire and energy may end up leaving as quickly as it came. Maybe this is just false hope from a homer, but I believe the Celtics truly needed to sweep the Heat to give them time to rest so they can regain their energy for the Cavs. It's why they wanted to face the Bucks in the first round. I personally think the longer this series is drawn out, the more the Heat have the advantage. If the Heat win game 5, it's going to give them a legitimate chance to win the whole series.

Agree with everything you said.

I blame our slow play on our coaching staff 100% though. We've got the players to play an uptempo style on offense but I guess Spo would rather slow things down and wait till there's 10 second left to shoot.

Beating Boston is a huge for this team psychologically. We were 0-5 against them and that one win shows that we can beat them.

Boston really hasn't dominated this series other than game 2. Miami gave up game 1, got beat on a game winner in game 3, and won in game 4. This very well could be a 3-1 series for Miami.

Yea, this series could have been much closer. The Heat still have a chance to make it closer, though, especially since they are a pretty good road team. There are still adjustments that could be made.

The energy that Q-Rich gave yesterday was a huge reason for the win, and the intangibles Joel Anthony brings (was +22 out there) was huge as well.

If Q is unable to bring the same kind of energy, Dorell needs to sub in much earlier than usual. Wright also tends to play better when subbed in earlier, but that's beside the point. He needs more minutes, cause his youth and ability to run the floor can really hurt the Celtics.

O'Neal also needs to be put on a short leash. If he's not making shots, Joel Anthony needs to come in. He's an energy guy, and that's the Celtics' weakness.

Beasley needs to build off of his game 4 performance, and Chalmers needs to keep disrupting on defense.

Also, Arroyo shouldn't start tomorrow. Knowing Spo, it's not gunna happen, but if it were my way I'd start either Wright or Chalmers. The Celtics' defense is going to give a lot of attention to Wade after him going bananas yesterday, and will definitely attempt to double him. The Heat need to counter that by putting shooters out there.

Poe, we've known all along that our best lineup was Wade, DWright, Q, Beas and JO but with his struggles I'd move Joel or UD in for him as those guys are basically interchangeable. We've hardly used that lineup all year, if ever.

Notice where Mike scored his points though in game 4. He hardly got the ball in those dumb baseline iso situations and look at the game he had. Let Mike and Mario go out and run when they're in the game together. That's when we were at our best on Sunday with Mario, Dwyane and Michael running the break.

The only problem with starting Wright is that the Heat have no bench. The Heat need strong bench play to continue playing at the tone set by the starters.

However Beasley is used in the offense, I think he has the most control over his own play. Wade is going to be double teamed a lot. He needs to find the open spot and knock down shots. Whenever he gets the ball and isn't wide open, he needs to attack the basket instead of settling for jumpers with a hand in his face. His play is going to be important, as always.
