JWaLL
One rumor floating around had the Cavs sending guard/forward Wallcy Szczerbiak and forward/center J.J. Hickson to Charlotte for forward Gerald Wallace in a sign-and-trade. If this happens, the Cavs would probably end up having the best offseason of any team. Unfortunately. lol
Smitty
I swear if the Cats are dumb enough to accept this..
Sheriff Shaq
This has to be just a rumor... It's too good to be true. I'd love to not have to deal with Wally's contract, on a side benefit.

Cleveland's Finest
Where'd you find this? And I've been hearing that we were interested in Wallace but we might have to include picks as well.
Universe
I think it's better to keep Wally IMO. Logjam of forwards.

Morning Journal, it was referenced on HoopsHype.com. If they got Wallace, I'm sure he would start at the 3 which would move Lebron to the 4. Paul
I would love for a real link, not saying your lying or anything bro, just would like to see it in writing. This would be amazing. I don't know what to say.
JWaLL
^^ It was in the HoopsHype daily archive, they provide multiple rumors per day. It's not on the page anymore because of all of the recent rumors that were added. The official link said it couldn't be found, but the website did say it. Not saying it's going to happen though, although that would make you guys a much better team, and you'd finally rid yourself of Wally's plaguing contract. TheHutch
Wally is actually a free agent right now, so it would be a sign and trade. But I read somewhere that this rumor is false.
BlueDevil
this had better not happen. Thats too much of a steal for the cavs.
Cleveland's Finest
I really don't want this deal anyways. seriously....how many 15 plus ppg scorers do we need? That would hurt the team as far as evening out playing time.

That would hurt the team as far as evening out playing time. His role would change as a player. He'd bring tough lockdown defense to the team, and can score when he needs to. He obviously wouldn't be the first, second, or even third option on offense, but he would definitely upgrade the Cavaliers in defense. Cleveland's Finest
LeBron has the lockdown defense. I dunno how much more of an upgrade we need defensively. We kept the Pistons and Hawks under 90 points in 8 games and had the lowest opponent ppg in the league. LeBron and Gerald are too similar. I just can't see them on the court together. They are one in the same athletically. That's also why I didn't want Artest. Just bulky strong guys like LeBron.

Well the Cavs were reportedly trying to look for a skilled 3 player so they could move Lebron to the 4. Gerald plays the 3, so having a player who is apparently "similar" to Lebron is not at all a bad thing. He can just reduce his role as a scorer and focus on his role as a tough defender. Having one "lock down defender" isn't enough to be a true defensive force of a team. Gerald definitely benefits you guys. Put Gerald at the 3, Lebron at the 4, and have Varejao come off the bench for Gerald and bump Lebron back to the 3. I really think this is a much better trade than you can see right now. Cleveland's Finest
Well it looks like we have no sure deals discussing right now. I don't know how much better of an offseason we needed. We got a 17 and 8 future hall of famer for nothing. Our roster needs no more shakeups of major doings.
JWaLL
I was thinking that too. I don't understand why the Cleveland GM would try to change the team up so much. They finished the season with the best record in the East with what they had.

Unfortunately. lol That is an over statement to say that when LA brings back Odom we will have the best offseason. We bring in toughness with Artest, we bring the best guy to be a 6th man in Lamar has you can;t say about any other sixth man cause Lamar is the difference between title or no title. And we bring in another high energy player in Shannon Brown.
