ChosenOne
Lakers will win this game, but it will be an ugly game by everyone except for Kobe.
NJNJ
Ahh the Utah Jazz... this series will be quite interesting
BeeZee
Should be a fun series. I love D-Will and Boozer, but I am going to absolutely despise them during this series. Lakers have beaten the Jazz 14 straight times at Staples - let's extend that streak.
Cobb
I'm going to miss this game because I'll be in the car driving home from my lakehouse. Lakers will probably win but it should be a good game. I hope Deron Williams is good to go.

The Regime
I wonder if Phil will go to the Kobe on Deron Williams matchup. If not Williams will probably go for 30-40 pts with ease. Once again our bigs need to show up, we got a nice size advantage.

He'll want to see how Fisher plays him first, especially with Williams a little banged up right now.
The Regime
Well it didn't take long for Phil to put Ron on Deron, just 1 play into the game.
The Regime
Kobe is dead on with his jumper so far (5-5), looks like the shooting is carrying over from Game 6. Good sign.
Kobe24
Kobe is looking fresh. Plus Game 3 is not until Saturday.. hes going to get alot of rest. Along with Bynum.
YugoRocketsFan
Well it didn't take long for Phil to put Ron on Deron, just 1 play into the game. Well what swingman does Ron have to defend?
The Regime
Deron can't catch a break, dude is getting banged up on every other play. Good first quarter though, hopefully our bench mob doesn't blow this lead.
The Regime
Well what swingman does Ron have to defend? I wanted Ron or Kobe on Williams, we just didn't think Phil would go to that matchup so early in the game. Matthews and Miles are average shooters at best, if I was Sloan I would give Korver some more pt. Edited May 2, 2010 by Confidence
Owner Real Deal Posted May 2, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted May 2, 2010 Deron is really too crafty for Ron Artest. Kobe needs to defend him.
Cleveland's Finest
Lakers bench is a zero. They went to Bynum in the 4th to begin, but couldn't get going.
Kobe24
Hate how long Phil leaves kobe out in 4th quarter.. takes him a while to get going again..

Warren2ThaG
You we need to do a better job with convincing wins at home, even though these West teams are tough minded and are out for blood.
Nitro
Great game by Kobe, very efficient scoring the ball and got the job done in the 4th as usual. The Lakers do have to do a better job of not letting the Utah role players kill them in the rest of this series. You can deal with Williams, Boozer and even Millsap going off, but you can't let Miles and Mathews kill you as well. There is no excuse for this game to be a close as it was with the Lakers shooting 53% from the field.
The Regime
Odom finally showed up in the final couple minutes of the game. Thank you bench mob for blowing the lead. We actually tried to work the ball through Bynum while he was out there with our bench but that proved ineffective. I want to see Odom assertive himself more when he is out there with Farmar and Shannon, those two take way too many stupid shots. I'm happy that we won, and it was nice to see Kobe finally have an efficient game. This series doesn't nearly bother me as much as the Thunder series did. NJNJ
Great game that was. I hope Lamar keeps playing like this throughout ^_^
Owner Real Deal Posted May 3, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted May 3, 2010 I absolutely hate how Phil sat Kobe for five minutes in the fourth. It lost our lead, and it was just stupid. And sadly, he does this all the damn time. I believe it was Mark Jackson saying how it seems like Kobe and Gasol have to win the game twice, once in the first three quarters, then again in the last six minutes. I know he's one of the greatest (if not the greatest) coach of all-time, but damn man...fix your rotations. If you're trying to save Kobe's legs for a fourth-quarter surge, give him 2-3 minutes max on the bench, and don't force him to have to catch up late in the game.
