32 in 32: The NFL Draft in Review

Hey guys. I've decided to re-vamp my writing career after taking a hiatus from it because of school, work, sports, etc. You know how that goes. But with Summer approaching, thus meaning the NFL off-season to come to a close and football to come back to the forefront, I'm taking a new step back in my writing career. I've re-opened a BleacherReport account, and have opened up a personal blog on tumblr, as well as a Twitter account.

Here's my plan. I'm going to cover ALL 32 teams in 32 days and their draft review. I'm going to do it alphabetically, it's just the easiest way to do it. It's a lot of commitment, but my approach is going to be to give OTR a great look at what teams did, what they didn't do, why they did it, etc. I'm not big on draft grades, so it's not going to be so much as giving an A+ to Carolina for the Jimmy Clausen pick, but more an in depth look at why they did it, or how.

Later in the Summer, I'm going to publish my annual "Top 50 Players" analysis, the third one running. This is my personal guarantee; It will be the best one yet. I've assembled a lot of tape through PVR and such, and my analysis is going to better. In turn, better discussion. I want to be able to educate the casual fan so the banter is greater. If I can do that, my job as a writer has been fulfilled.

In late July, I'll launch my second "32 in 32" with NFL season previews of every team. Again, a lot of work, but it's going to fun and everyone's going to love it (hopefully).

So, in review:

  • 32 in 32: NFL Draft in Review
  • Top 50 Players in the NFL
  • 32 in 32: NFL Season Preview
  • Podcasts (Much like Football Today)
  • "The Film Room" - Breaking down select players
  • College Football Analysis

Anyways, thanks for reading guys, and hope to see you guys reading. This upcoming season's going to be a blast!
