The Regime
While the Spurs are beholden to "continue to evaluate any opportunity that comes," GM RC Buford said Monday he does not expect to shop Tony Parker during the offseason. "I think that you would be crazy not to want a player like Tony in our program for a long time," Buford said, adding, "The speculation with Tony is placed outside our organization." Parker has a $13.5 million expiring contract set to come off the books next season. "It would surprise me, if Tony hadn't played most of the year with some kind of health ailment, that we'd even be having this conversation," Buford said. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/66489/20100510/spurs_wont_shop_parker/

Newman
I love the potential of Hill, but I hope the Spurs won't press the panic button by trading Parker, I still believe that the Spurs can make another run at the Championship with this squad.
