The Plain Dealer's Brian Windhorst disputes Mannix's claims on Twitter, but it would not be at all surprising if Brown has already been fired. Press conferences are set for later in the day when it would likely become official. Brown will join Mike Woodson in a job search, but neither is assured of getting another head coaching job for next season. No surprise here this was long over due.
