Owner Real Deal Posted May 15, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted May 15, 2010 Pau Gasol going to L.A was pretty bad. lolThe Grizzlies would disagree, and Marc Gasol would be pretty upset to read that as well.
Make It Naaaashty
The Grizzlies would disagree, and Marc Gasol would be pretty upset to read that as well. Not like the Grizzlies has accomplished anything with that trade so far, they gave Pau to L.A and pretty much handed them a ring. The Regime
Define worst. As in one team benefited tremendously and the other didn't. Kobe for Divac in the first trade that comes to my mind. Edited May 15, 2010 by Confidence

kingfish
Not like the Grizzlies has accomplished anything with that trade so far, they gave Pau to L.A and pretty much handed them a ring.So what if they havent accomplished anything? The Timberwolves have accomplished much less for giving away KG to the Celtics, basically handing them a ring. That logic is so ridiculous. Did the Lakers basically hand Miami a ring also when we gave them Shaq? Â The Grizzlies got great value in that deal and there's no denying that. Kobe24
I think the Divac for Kobe trade was pretty bad. Usually any trade where the other team just lets the player go back. Sort of like Illgauskas.

Owner Real Deal Posted May 16, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted May 16, 2010 Um im surprised nobody's mentioned this yet, but the Nets trading Dr. J to the 76ers for $3 million was pretty damn badYeah, that's a great one. Pippen from Seattle to Chicago...already mentioned, though. Vince Carter was dealt to the Magic for Courtney Lee and Rafer Alston. If the Magic end up winning a title, you could say that was a massive trade for them. Lee hasn't done much of anything for New Jersey, and we already know about Rafer. Phoenix traded Rajon Rondo and Brian Grant to the Celtics for Cleveland's first rounder in 2007. With the way Rondo is playing, that was a huge mistake. And yes, the Kobe/Divac trade was crazy.

His shooting was on fire from behind the arc for a couple weeks and he had a couple 25+ point games in the same period of time. Courtney Lee also seemed to be a big help for Terrence in terms of T-Will having someone on his own team as a good example of how to turn around a rough season. I like the idea of Lee as a sixth man if we draft Wall and keep Harris, so he can really continue to be a big part of the team. What both sides received may have not necessarily matched, but we know what Jersey's main purpose was in making the move, and I think it's still helping us. AboveLegit
Pippen to Chicago has to top every trade mentioned in this thread...Without him, the Bulls would not have won 6 championships.
Teletopez
It's hard to throw trades from the last couple of years into the mix since they all shared a similar purpose. But outside of those, Billups to Denver didn't go so well for Detroit. It may have not been the worst, but it seemed to be apart of Detroit's major downfall. You should have taken a screenshot and put it up on your wall. Congrats. :o I'm one step ahead of you, Smelly Neal.http://i42.tinypic.com/o920jo.jpg
