xx.
DeMarcus Cousins will be a hall of fame PF. We need a PF not a guard, so that means Harris will stay and Cousins will just be a thug in the paint.
EastCoastNiner
The NBA lottery is absolute crap. They should do the lottery the same way as the NHL.

Cleveland's Finest
LeBron and Wall in Wizard jerseys? At the same time former Wiz Jamison on the Cavs? That would be weird. Wonder what Arenas is thinking.

It actually benifits our team better even though I fell in love with Wall.
EastCoastNiner
How is it done in the NHL? Only the five teams that have the highest odds can win, and you can only be bumped down one spot. The New Jersey Nets getting the 3rd pick is crap.

Smitty
CRAZY hyped right now. Wow. I'm not gonna be able to stop smiling for the rest of the week. A trio of Iguodala/Turner/Holiday = omg.
Newman
Philly would be a playoffs team with the addition of Turner and I am glad for Wizards to get #1 pick, they deserve it given how much they suffered last season.
Guest Zyzz
Cousins is a thug that I seem having work ethic issues in the NBA. I also see him having trouble with playing against players his own size. Guys like Duncan, KG, Dwight, and Amare would eat him alive. Erick Blasco
A long, long time ago, Minnesota and Boston had the best odds of going first and second, and instead, Portland and Seattle got the first two picks. The pick that Minnesota would've had would've been Greg Oden, and while Mike Conley is only an average player, at least he's been much healthier than Oden and doesn't have the risk of having his career being derailed at any time. The player that Boston would've taken would've been Kevin Durant, a superstar, but Boston parlayed the #5 pick into Ray Allen and won a championship they probably wouldn't have won with a rookie Durant. Meanwhile, Portland hasn't gained all that much from having the first pick. The moral of this story is that having the ping pong balls bounce your way doesn't always guarantee success, and losing the lottery isn't the end of the world. John Wall could be very average in the pros, and whoever the Nets and T-Wolves draft could be very productive.

John Wall could be very average in the pros, and whoever the Nets and T-Wolves draft could be very productive. To add to this post of yours, look no further than last season for another example where not having the ping pong balls bounce in your favour turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Sacramento was the worst team in the league and managed to fall all the way down to number 4. The Clippers won the lottery and obviously picked Blake Griffin, who missed his entire rookie season with knee problems. The Kings had to "settle" for Tyreke Evans at 4 and Evans just so happened to have had one of the best rookie seasons from a guard in a long time with 20/5/5 averages. Obviously the jury is still out on Griffin and it would be foolish to write him off as a bust just yet, but even if he does become what many people predicted him to be, is that a better player than what Evans has the potential to become? Also, you have Memphis moving up from 5th to 2nd where they picked Hasheem Thabeet who doesn't look like he will ever accomplish much in Memphis when if they would've stayed at 5 they could've possibly had somebody like Stephen Curry. Winning the lottery isn't always a curse and it can definitely be a blessing sometimes. Edited May 19, 2010 by Built Ford Tough
