ChosenOne
RIGHT NOW would he make it to the Hall of Fame? Dirk Nowitzki - 22.9 ppg, 2.7 apg, 8.5 rpg I think he needs a ring to make it.

ChosenOne
Yes, hes arguably the best European player ever. So being the best European player ever puts him in the HOF?
The Regime
Yes. You don't find a guy of his skillset very often. As Yugo said he's the best European player ever, and even though he doesn't have a championship he has made the Mavs a household name over the last decade. Poe
I'd say so, but solely based on his career, not where he was born.

ExplosiveScoring
Yeah, I think Dirk is arguably the best player on his team. But Yeah he's HOF bound. He's greater than C-Webb in my opinion, greater, not better.

AtTheDriveIn
So being the best European player ever puts him in the HOF? Considering that it's on the NBA Hall of Fame but rather the Basketball Hall of Fame, being the most successful foreign player would certainly put him into the Hall of Fame. If that's not enough, 1 MVP trophy and 22/9 averages for a team who for a whole decade scored fifty straight wins with said player as the main player would be enough to get him on at least second ballot. But, if you include both discourses, Dirk's a first-ballot Hall of Famer.
Mentch
Obviously Dirk is a HOF. Maybe not first-ballot, but he'll get in, no doubt And putting it like that is still pushing it a bit. I think he'll be a first-ballot HOF'er Edited May 26, 2010 by Mentch
