ExplosiveScoring
This is the same song that's used in the vitamin water commercial. This song is definitely better than the original pursuit of happiness song. Edited May 25, 2010 by Wade's World

JYD
I like the techno and fast beat.to each his own. the original song with ratatat's instrumentals were great though. the song was just designed to be slow and with a certain beat, but whatever. xx.
I love dance, trance and electronica music just as much as anybody here but the original is definitely better man the beat and the song were off to be honest. ExplosiveScoring
The original isn't sad lol.. its titled "Pursuit of Happiness".. listen to the lyrics man, thats how you can judge a song. Not sad, but it's good to listen to when you are depressed, I had a [expletive] day and the song somewhat cheered me up. There's a lot of interpretation about what the song means though....Some say addiction, getting high, living life to the fullest, don't let anyone get in your way, be happy with what you do no matter what the side effects are, tons of [expletive]. xx.
There's many interpretations because everyone has their own answer, its just doing what you like to do in order to find that happiness.

For Cudi, it probably has to do with drugs, it sounds like he's so addicted that he can't do anything about it but he's happy.

Steve Aoki who remixs this song is always on something, and is prolly twice harder than what Cudi does.
