so i need to buy a laptop im moving out from home (to go to uni/college) and i dont want to lug around my computer and its a lot more convenient to have a laptop.

i need to be able to run my main programs like photoshop, illustrator etc etc.. im going graphics design course. but also i like to play video games nothing extreme like crysis more like Counter strike source, left 4 dead 2, the biggest game i would play is borderlands

i basicaly want a laptop what can match my computer here is the main specs for it(if you need more ask)

ram 2gb

intelpent4 3ghz

nividia geforce 8500 gt

i know little to nothing about laptops so i found one that i think will be perfect for me

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NEW-Acer-Intel-DualCore-4Gb-Ram-320Gb-Win7-15-6-Laptop-/160438295472?cmd=ViewItem&pt=AU_comp_laptop&hash=item255ade1bb0#ht_6935wt_930

now dual core means i have a total of 4.2ghz?

I'm hoping that the 4gb of ram + the 512mb from that graphics card is similar to my computer?

keep in mind that i live in aus and my budget is 700$ if anyone can help me out that would be huge

dual core is just the kind of processor, you dont double the speed. the processor is 2.1ghz. laptop processors are slower then desktop generally

and 4 gb of ram is plenty
