Lkr
the best player on the planet had 38 points(15-22 shooting), 10 assists, and 8 rebounds. The Lakers still played pathetically as a team, even with 2006 Kobe in the building.

Guest Zyzz
Way to point it out. Never seen one of these b4 from him. [most get the point that he was the only bright spot for the Lakers last night. No need to defend it]
His Greatness
It's funny you bring up '06 Kobe, because '06 Kobe lost to Phoenix in the postseason even after leading by two games in the series.
andreusito
^This, and that his two monster games in the series are the two the Lakers lost.
Owner Real Deal Posted May 26, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted May 26, 2010 The 2006 Kobe Bryant also had the 2006 team, shot 33% in two of the first three games, didn't throw double-digit assists in any of those games (has done it three times in the four games already). He also scored over 30 just once against them in 2006. He has already hit 30+ three times. Guess I don't see the significance.
Check my Stats
I don't like Kobe very much but I have to give him serious respect for these playoffs, I hope he takes the summer off and comes back 100% healthy next year, it will be interesting to see how dominant he can be at age 32 or whatever he will be, if he is fully healthy. YugoRocketsFan
Kobe is just doing what other great stars have done in their later years, chill out in the regular season, then play well in the offs'
kingfish
I think hes playing even better then he was last postseason. He is on a mission for sure. Btw I think that Chuck Perons guy really helped him, cause he also played with a broken finger and was still a dominant shooter.
Be Like Mike
IMO, This is his best statistical WCF postseason to date. 2001 against the Spurs was spectacular too but factor in his injuries and the fact that he's 31 makes it even better.
