Im glad all you haters are not gonna be watching, finally some people wont be in the game threads. Only fans of the relevant teams matter now.

Lakers in 6.

I'm going they're going to watch regardless... I mean, what else to do at this time of year? Why are you glad if you're confident the Lakers gonna win? Are you having doubts now?

Jalen Rose knows what he's talking about... so it pains me to see he picks the Lakers :(

As a fan of the NBA, I want the Lakers to win.

However, as a fan of the Toronto Raptors, I want the Celtics to win, as much as I hate to type that, simply because the Lakers would be more inclined to make that speculated Bosh for Bynum trade in the summer if they were to lose this series than if they were to win it.

I'll probably end up cheering for the Lakers though because I simply can't bring myself to cheer for the Celtics.

The deal was on the table in February, when we were doing very well...so I wouldn't be too shocked if we pull the trigger, ring or no ring.

I'm not saying that the Lakers wouldn't make the trade if they do win a ring this year and I wouldn't be surprised one bit if that trade happens with the Laker repeating as NBA Champions.

With that said though, you definitely have to think that if the Lakers fall short in the Finals against Boston that the odds of them pulling the trigger on the deal would have to increase.

I don't think that the Lakers are too thrilled on Bynum anyways, and to be perfectly honest, even if they don't trade him for Bosh, I wouldn't be surprised if he was moved for somebody else later in the summer. You obviously know better than me, but I get the impression that they are starting to get fed up with him.

Of course. The odds would increase significantly.

Bynum can be a MAJOR piece to our quest for a title in 2011...but not necessarily in a Lakers jersey. There are a few teams interested in a big man that can produce 20/10 at full health. While the Lakers FO does have concerns for his health, and those teams are aware of it, it's those very teams that may be willing to part with a nice player just to have a productive big man.

High risk, high reward, as I've mentioned before (and as everyone else is award of).

I really don't even think it matters how well Bynum contributes for us in the NBA Finals, either (unless he goes into monster mode and throws down 20/10 a game on Perkins, which won't happen). I truly think we are dead set at exploring any deals offered for him.
