fish7718
RHP Stephen Strasburg will make his major-league debut on June 8, the Nationals announced Monday afternoon. General manager Mike Rizzo told MASNSports.com the debut comes with the "appropriate caveats," meaning it could be pushed back if Strasburg's final start at Class AAA Syracuse (N.Y.) is rained out on Thursday or if the right-hander gets injured. But if everything goes according to plan, Strasburg will face the Pittsburgh Pirates at Nationals Park before what is all but assured to be a sellout crowd. As of Monday night, only single tickets were still available for the June 8 debut, and some sellers were already asking as much as $2,000 for a seat on StubHub. Strasburg will pitch for Syracuse against Buffalo on Thursday night, his sixth and final start for Syracuse. He has a 3-1 record and a 1.27 ERA at Syracuse. Jenneral
Hopefully he tears it up at this level as well. I'd like to see him be a great pitcher for the Nats for years to come. If only the Brewers could get some young talent like him...
Phightins
And the day prior to that, they will welcome Bryce Harper to their organization. Not a bad 2-day span for Nationals fans. The National League East suddenly projects to be a pretty damn good division in a couple years.

Phightins
Strasburg is the top prospect in baseball right now bar-none IMO (yes I am still considering Heyward a prospect). And, this game will be broadcasted on MLB Network. Very cool. Edited June 2, 2010 by Phightins
