Flash
"I thought when we elected a black president, we were going to get a black president. You know, this [bP oil spill] is where I want a real black president. I want him in a meeting with the BP CEOs, you know, where he lifts up his shirt so you can see the gun in his pants. That's -- (in black man voice) 'we've got a motherfu**ing problem here?' Shoot somebody in the foot." Hint: It wasn't Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly or Rush Limbaugh. Poe
Bill Maher. Google is a powerful weapon. The guy was obviously being sarcastic if you see the video, though. Edited June 1, 2010 by Poe
NomarFachix
Bill Maher. I've watched his show a few times, I generally enjoyed it. His interview with Kevorkian was good.

Flash
Also, if this were Glenn Beck or O'Reilly who said it, do you think it would go unnoticed? I'd venture to say the reaction would be huge against either of them.
NomarFachix
Maher is a political satirist... O'Reilly and Beck aren't... at all.
Lkr
You honestly view took that movie seriously?no, I laughed my [expletive] off while watching it. it is called a comedy for a reason. people don't take this seriously because Maher is a comedian. he tries to be funny, while O'Reilly and Beck are far from trying to be funny
Flash
Maher is a political satirist... O'Reilly and Beck aren't... at all. I understand, but if either of those 2 were to sarcastically say that in the manner that Maher did, don't you think it'd be received differently? For the record, I have no problem with what Maher said because like others said he's a comedian and not meant to be taken seriously.

Yes, and for the reason I outlined earlier.
