The Regime
Steve Nash will cover the World Cup in South Africa for CBS. Nash will post a series of eight videos to CBSSports.com and youtube.com/CBSSports, along with daily photos, iPhone vignettes, status updates and fan interaction on CBSSports.com's social media platforms on Facebook and Twitter. Nash might also be a correspondent for the David Letterman show as he was during the 2009 NBA Finals. "This project with CBSSports.com combines two of my passions off the basketball court -- the beautiful game known internationally as 'football' and video production," Nash said in a statement released by CBSSports.com. "I look forward to shooting some memorable pieces from South Africa and giving fans a unique and sometimes humorous look at World Cup." http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/66957/20100602/nash_will_cover_world_cup/

Built Ford Tough
I didn't realize he was interested in soccer. He probably could've played pro soccer if he had focused on it instead of basketball. He plays regularly in the summer (he has trained with New York's MLS team). He was a major factor in Vancouver getting an MLS team in 2011 and has been a part owner of the Whitecaps since 2008. He is also an investor in Women's Professional Soccer. Nash has been a lifelong soccer fan and has actually done a lot of things in his life for soccer.
